The mid-range is exceptionally well-tuned, because it's kept clean and leaves a lot of room for the lower and upper-midrange, allowing vocals to be brought to life. I'm currently looking into better methods of measuring IEMs to provide a more accurate picture in the future. The IT01 are less even and neutral in the midrange and treble which results in a less realistic, more plasticky, less smooth response in comparison. Starfield is equipped with a 24AWG litz structure 4N purity OFC earphone cable, which ensures rich sound details and full dynamics.

At the moment I'm unable to publish measurements for IEMs due to my current measurement rig's lack of ear-canal shaping of any kind. Different from KXXS’s sharp, wide, accurate sound field and super clear analysis, Starfield focus on delicate, soft, stretched sound and excellent quality bringing a delicate balance between balance and musicality.Their IEMs illustrate aesthetics and build quality and that’s why they are so liked in the community.

This aids with instrument separation, sense of speed and immediacy, and overall cleanliness of the sound. However, the bass is not very high quality, neither is the treble, and instruments in general sound below par. In fact, I’ve spent hours listening to YouTube rips of my favorite guitarists because the experience is just that pleasant.

It's a sacrifice I'd be willing to make, partially due to the frequency response as well, which I discuss later on.
