About this deal

Walnut and nutmeg ground this and meld with the florals to create a very warm and comforting feeling. In conclusion, I really wanted to love this, especially given how beautiful the bottle is, but I suppose the empty bottle will have to remain decorative for the future.

For me it starts with almost a fizz, effervescence with a hint of spice, then the flowers start to grow. Honeysuckle, peony (peony done right like it is here is a treasure) they shine here w/ their tender girlish charm.I did not like it but thinking it over, the scent is quite unique, mixing all the prominent white flowers, jasmine, tuberose, gardenia, honeysuckle, orange blossom. Perhaps my previous rotations were hostile to Organza but the greens to which it shares kinship with seemed to have uplifted it. To my nose Organza shares a huge amount with Jean Paul Gaultier’s Classique essence EDP but is less sweet by comparison.

Organza is a decadent, luxurious, spicy masterpiece that exudes mystery and elegance without sacrificing sex appeal.

I would wish that the greens stayed a bit longer; after all, we yearn for that lover who stays aloof at the early stages of courtship don’t we? Lack of depth and rich tones that I could really expect, because this should be white flowers bomb, especially it is Givenchy and very likeable fragrance overall.

It's the representation of the woman in all her various faces: elegance, sensuality, womanliness, in a word MUM.Take for instance Yves Rocher-Eau des Vahines ( 2012-2013 batch) and that one is extremely strong and coconutty- it should be an EDT for the summer- but it is really dense all season and extremely sweet. I sure hope the original won't be too different, as the Gold collection is very difficult to find, and very expensive. The intoxicating opening of consists of opulent notes from gardenia, African orange flower, bergamot and nutmeg. The really great thing here is that it's not really a cloying monster or a badly done fragrance in any way.

Although people say it smells ‘feminine’ there is something about it that has a heavy masculine quality to it. I am thankful for the nutmeg's longevity in this beautifully blended fragrance, it has me craving it more and more. My current bottle is from July 2021 and I can say the scent itself hasn't changed in any significant way compared to older versions. My mom smells like a GODDESS with this - that's why I can't stop sniffing her when I got to see her. This perfume is incredibly beautiful, just like the lovely, elegant, sinuous and graceful Grecian lady bottle that it's in.The peony and its dainty freshness combined with an uncanny trio of salacious gardenia, cosmetic iris and that smell which wafts from ripe walnuts, shell intact, seemed to produce dreamy billows of the kind I find in Poison, Amarige and even Paris. This must be the strongest perfume I have in my collection, and how could one not be thrilled about this.
