The Batman isa movie that revives the Caped Crusader’s detective origins but brings with it a starker vulnerability than ever before. Batman catches up to him and is content to watch him from the shadows, and observe the way he handles taking down a syndicate of Gotham Organized Crime. The Batman Gauntlets have been a regular feature on the Batsuit but had very little practical use until Batman: The Animated Series, after which they were used heavily in hand-to-hand combat for blocking. Batman v Superman is due to hit theaters soon, and is so often the case with upcoming superhero movies, it's inspired German cyberweapons hobbyist Patrick Priebe to make something. For adult hands, it can be a bit awkward to position everything just right; otherwise, you can have the trigger not line up, or be constantly hitting the large red paddle.

The designers of The Batman‘s Batsuit wanted him to be able to really move his neck and to have full motion. Overall, it’s quite fun to use, and I’ve spent plenty of time at home with it equipped, taking shots at targets whenever the mood strikes.

Another actuator triggers a single aluminum blade that slides straight out the back, inspired by a weapon in the game Deus Ex. All of the Batmen wear that…I just loved the idea of taking off [the mask], and under that, there’s the sweating and the dripping and the whole theatricality of becoming this character. And in case it all seems a little unsettling, he also tells us that none of the blades are actually that sharp – everything is more for looks than anything else.
There is something distinctly horror-sounding about how Reeves notes Bruce Wayne “takes parts of cars and kit cars” to make the Batmobile. Additionally, according to the publication, “The new Batcave is based on a secret underground railway that still exists in New York. Finally, the gauntlet also has a spring-loaded catapult that launches little steel batarang-style discs. And so, when a new Batman emerges from the darkness, as Robert Pattinson’s has in 2022, the first questions we have to ask revolve around these three Batobjects.
