All in all this is a very good setup if you are looking to buy a next generation Dolby Atmos Home Cinema speaker setup without breaking the bank and without the trouble of having to place the extra speakers on the ceiling of your house. It may not be the best speakers money can buy but for what it was made for it offers everything you need and more. You can find these speakers in the links below in set with an AV receiver or only the speakers so you can decide what you want best. Highly recommended. With PS5 all is working but i think it’s only because PS5 doesn’t support dolby vision…the only thing i can’t understand is that if i connect the ps5 directly to the tv the output is rgb 12b 4l8, but if i connect it to the sync box it will be YCBCR422 8b (like the fire cube with the enhanced dolby enabled). As the TX-SR494 allows Bluetooth streaming it is super easy to get connected to speakers or devices. Pair with your PC, tablet, phone and stream what you like to listen to. But you don’t have to go with such a full system. There is a wide variety of floorstanders that come with up-firing drivers if you prefer for a more expensive solution. It’s all a matter of budget and space limitations that will decide your final choices. The Onkyo system we mentioned above is an excellent solution for small rooms and for those that have a low budget as it can provide a very nice Atmos experience on a budget. if i enable the enhanced compatibility in hue sync, the video output is YCBCR422 8b, the colors seems washed out and less brighter and of course, light sync works well.The connections are sufficient for pairing with several devices or speakers. For a receiver, it is not mandatory to have lots of connections when a few can cover the whole connection system. And while in the beginning we were seeing up-firing drivers being utilized only for the front lately we see a few soundbar flagships going for up-firing speakers in their surround channels also showing how much they believe in this design. The simplicity in the setup but high power of 160 watts per channel worth to be praised. Like other receivers, it doesn’t contain many inputs. This is sometimes problematic but most of the time this is great as you don’t need to face any messy input system.
