I enjoy romances so I like that many of the siblings find love during the course of the story. There is representation as one of the siblings comes out to the family. Something they couldn’t do while the father was alive. One brother is on the high end of the autistic spectrum and needs extra attention and care. It helps that everyone in the family is likable. Even the oldest sister who has some harsh things to say to the the youngest. The oldest son is going through a divorce so his wife is the only villain in the story. I enjoyed this story and liked the characters very much. All five children are strong characters with their own issues and problems. I loved the way all the children came together and eventually helped each other out.I have been reading Danielle Steel books for a number of years now and I enjoy passing on her novels to my step mum to read as she is a big fan of the popular author’s work. Beautiful has a striking and bold cover that immediately caught my eye. I liked the idea of such a relevant, timely and pointed novel about the construction of beauty being a central topic of examination. The bones were there with this one, but I don’t think it was executed that well. But it is not an easy life for Iris with her father in charge and using her income to pay for gambling, women, and booze. When she starts to tour at age eighteen, she takeson a real manager. Yet he exploits her too, and the singers and musicians she tours with are really the only family she has. It is they who give Iris the courage to finally fly free, leave the tour, and follow her dreams. Danielle Steel brings us Antonia Adams who becomes the target of her parents' bitterness and hatred relishes the feeling of being invisible to the world. We follow Antonia as she goes through life being ignored by her parents making her reliant on herself. After her mother leaves to pursue her Hollywood dreams of becoming an actress, Antonia spends time getting lost in books and movies. As a fan of Danielle Steel for many years, I am always amazed by her deep and emotional writing style. The Whittiers is another example of Steel's ability to connect with the human spirit. Full of depth and heart-touching moments, the book reached down and touched my soul. In her isolation, books are her refuge and movies her escape. A day spent being carried away by an unforgettable film in a dark theater is her greatest thrill. I only give 5 stars to books I would consider reading again, and this latest offering from Danielle Steel fits that criteria as a feel-good, entertaining read. Both of these critiques are accurate but for me that's part of her charm. I can count on every book to contain relatable characters. They will face physical, mental or moral challenges that speak to all of us. Steel is a master of drawing the reader in - I cry through each book.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves women’s fiction. I received a complimentary copy of this book. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. However, I found the story a bit predictable. I know that romances can be predictable, but for some reason, I found that this book was very predictable, almost as if I’d read it before. But, I still enjoyed the book, as the characters were very compelling. What’s ugly is that human beings do things like tDanielle Steel’s latest book is called Happiness. It was released on August 8 2023. Her next release will be Second Act that will be released on October 3 2023. Does Danielle Steel have a new book out yet? When there's a new Danielle Steel book out, I feel compelled to read it. Suspects is her latest. It's a short book that offers no surprises - but that's not why you read Danielle Steel. Her books are little treats that can be gobbled down in a sitting or two and offer an enjoyable escape. A little glitz and glamour are always fun when there's some espionage added. Not her best but enjoyable, nevertheless. Mike Weston is known for making enormous profits by transforming small businesses into bigger, more successful ones.
