I'm curious, when the Smash Amiibo series is done, are the Amiibos dying or will Nintendo continue this.

I get them for the figures themselves, not the bonuses, especially those with little to no merchandise like Captain Falcon, Dr. Mario, biker Wario, the Miis or Chibi-Robo. It's easier to notice if you count the "pixels" in their arms, you'll see Steve arms are actually one pixel wider. Steve and Alex are not the same mould. If you look closer you can see, that Alex has at least thinner arms (as in Minecraft). But of course the changes are minimalistic. Thinking about all the money I've spent on Smash Bros. amiibo must be a huge amount. One day I will do the math. I knew Steve amiibo was coming but was surprised to see Alex also get one so I like others were like why not Female Byleth? Someone already said that since both characters have the same pose I guess it was easier to make. Still would have loved female Byleth. It'd be cool if Mojang decide to add amiibo support to the Switch version of Minecraft with these on the horizon.ugh. Just like with Terry, I couldn't care less about these Amiibo. But I so far have a complete Smash collection, so of course I'm going to have to buy them :/ After the release of the final DLC character late last year, Smash Bros director Masahiro Sakurai said he was undecided if he’d make another entry. The posture of the figures is fitting I guess to the source material but damn I wish they could have done something more original with the sculpts. Maybe different weapons? Items? Also, I can bet that someday the Sora amiibo will be announced and then BAM! Master Hand plus-size amiibo just for the surprise and masterful finish. There isn't a different mould being made for the alt costume and it is simply another paint/colouring.
