The toilets at the north end of the beach are pretty grim but that's to be expected when so many people use them and at least they are always open. Baggy Point is a fantastic walk along clifftops and will reward you with stunning views over Croyde Bay. The landscape is covered in pretty flowers during the summer months. The whole village and surrounding area is within the North Devon AONB and boasts superb natural scenery. The nearest railway station is Barnstaple, 10 miles (16km) away.
