About this deal

According to Bones, Super Reds provides premium skateboard surface and finish to the boot. By utilizing these skateboard bearings, you will have more momentum when you either go up or downhill.

Store Properly: When you’re not using your longboard, store it in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture or humidity from affecting the bearings. Avoid leaving your board in extreme temperature conditions, as it can impact bearing performance. There are a few different types of skateboard bearings that pros use, depending on their skating style and preferences. Most Pros skate Bones Reds, Bronson Bearings and Steel bearings are the industry standard for their durability and cost-effectiveness. Steel bearings vary in quality from brand to brand, with steel, sealing, and interior ball bearings being the most important parts. The greater a set of longboard bearings is costly, the higher its quality, as they contain better sealing, higher-quality metals, and more inner ball bearings. When you come to an abrupt stop on your longboard, you’ll feel the difference between high-quality bearings and their lower-cost counterparts. Ceramic bearings are weaker than metal bearings and not for hardcore skaters. They will break faster when ollieing huge stairs for example. They just can’t handle hard impacts very well. Titanium BearingsFinish: The finish of longboard bearings refers to the quality of the surface and the precision of the manufacturing process. Bearings with a smoother finish tend to offer reduced friction, resulting in better speed and overall performance. Higher-quality bearings undergo more precise manufacturing techniques and polishing processes to achieve a smoother finish, which can contribute to their higher price compared to bearings with rougher surfaces.

These skateboard bearings improve your ride with deep grove raceways that reduce the side impact damage with high-speed ceramics oil compounds. I used them on a Dinghy and Pilsner cruiser and they are a blast. We’ve (my friend and I) been riding these in the rain and then stored them for about 6 months. We skated the most expensive steel bearings, and they lasted just as long as affordable bearings. Sure if you ollie 7-stairs you might want to get higher grade steel bearings. The average skater only needs either Bronson G2 bearings, or Bones Reds. CercamicsFor this, we tested as many skateboard bearings as we could get our hands on. The test was simply to use each bearing set for an extended period of time, skating each and every day and performing no maintenance. Ultimately, our goal was to provide newcomers the best value options on the market. For this reason we excluded ceramic bearings in favor of steel bearings, although a few of the options on the list offer a hybrid-ceramic variant. How we rated the bearings Speed⚡️ How fast is the bearing. 1-5 lightning bolts. ⚡️ Installation Ease 🔨 How easy are the bearings to install? Built-in bearings are easier than standard. 1-5 hammers. 🔨 Longevity ⏱ How long do these last without needing maintenance ? 1-5 timers. ⏱ Cost 💲 How much money are these going to cost me? 1-5 dollar signs. 💲 Overall ⭐ Overall rating? 1-5 stars. ⭐ KEVNI Ceramic Skateboarding bearings is a product that eliminates any discomfort and resistance in your longboarding journeys. Trouble bearings for longboards and skateboards are the best tool to make your riding experience smooth and flawless. With the use of these high-quality bearings, you can have greater control over your board and better speed accuracy. The bearings are pre-lubricated with a high-quality substance, making them long-lasting and least resistant. In summary, you should strive to have a setup that has all the necessary parts. Some people may argue that they aren’t necessary for skating, but they are simply necessary if you want to have gear that performs great. Bearing lube matters Steel bearings have less liquid or moisture resistance, making them more prone to rusting and gradual wearout. The bright spot about ceramic wheel cores is that they don’t suffer as much from such circumstances.

However, when you're just starting out, you wont notice much difference between entry-level bearings like the Bones Reds or Bronson G2 Bearings and more expensive ceramic bearings as you wont be maxing out the bearing performance. Instead, focus on choosing a trusted brand with a reputation for producing high-quality and durable bearings that you won't have to replace or clean too often. To improve your skateboarding experience, esKape Abec-9 bearings is the tool you’re looking for. These bearings have the potential to surpass most standard bearings, giving you better and more consistent ride and speed. After testing 5 sets I feel confident enough to say that these give you the most value for the money. Zealous bearings believe and strive to give the consumer the best value on the market and offer a superior first-rate product to the customer. Not many cons, just the price. I’m not sure if they are worth it if your budget is tight, G2’s or Standard Reds might be a better option.

Zealous Ceramic Bearings - BuiltIn

built in spacers (that's 10mm for us metric folk) - like all the other built-in bearings in our shop. How the US got to the moon using the Imperial system we will never know...

EsKape Bearings are engineered to be very durable, keeping it unharmed to extreme use or heavy load and will not get deformed. The red and silver colour of the bearing will give your skateboard wheel a very pleasing appearance. The bearings are very reliable; their grip ensures that they do not fall out of the wheel causing any discomfort. That’s a whole lot of fancy words that can be summarized as cheap bearings that last a long time. Where we had to replace our bones Reds, the G2’s still worked for a long time. Ceramic skateboard bearings aren’t faster than quality metal bearings, perhaps a 0.5 mph difference, which doesn’t mean much. The type of skateboard wheel you ride has a bigger impact on speed than bearings. Of course, other factors such as wind, temperature, wheel choice and the riders ability probably played up. So it’s hard to say if the bearings alone were responsible for the speeds. That said, a difference of 0.74kph isn’t that much, especially for you as a user who will probably not be attempting any world record speeds soon.

Zealous Bearings - BuiltIn: Cheaper Elsewhere?

Ease of use is generally determined by whether the bearing is built in or not. Built-in bearings basically come with built-in spacers and speed rings. A good example of these are the Zealous built-in bearings.
