Size and portability: Consider how much space you have for storing and transporting the BBQ, and how easy it is to set up and take down. If your recipe calls for specific measurements, portion them out to avoid having to measure in camp. I grew up camping with my family and my dad is an incredible camp cook. But just like you can’t make your grandma’s recipes without a ton of practice, camp cooking isn’t something that necessarily comes naturally.
