About this deal

Unlike their dark kin, Eldar Corsairs do not suppress their psychic abilities. [21] Relations with other Aeldari The Voidscarred Gunner can choose between two different ranged weapons combined with the Fists melee weapon and a Shuriken Pistol: The Blaster has Armour Penetration 2 and 6 critical damage, and the Shredder does damage to all enemies within a Blast range of Circle/2 inches but with 3 normal and 4 critical damage. When an enemy operative finishes any kind of movement action, this Ploy allows one friendly nearby operative to perform a free Charge action with a range of up to Square/3 inches if that Charge lets it move within Engagement Range of the enemy operative that triggered the use of the Ploy. One Step Ahead The Corsair Voidscarred are a kill team for the Games Workshop tabletop skirmish game Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team. They’re available in the Kill Team: Nachmund expansion set. As its name suggests, the next Kill Team expansion will take you to the Nachmund Gauntlet, a perilous region of space beset by conflict and madness. As the safest passage through the Great Rift, Nachmund is unimaginably important to the Imperium of Man, and an endless war rages for control.

The Fate Dealer is the team’s sniper. Their Ranger long rifle has BS2+, does 3/3 damage with 3 MW on a crit, and has the Heavy and Silent rules. Their camo cloak gives them an additional save dice when in cover (so you retain two successes instead of one before rolling), and their Take Aim (1 AP) action allows them to steady and gain teh Balanced rule on their rifle until the end of the activation. The Mistfield can only be taken by the Felarch. It grants a 5+ invulnerable save to any friendly operative as long as that operative is within 2 inches of the Felarch. Lodestar Helm Many Voidscarred fight as standard warriors wielding weapons such as Shuriken Weapons, Fusion Weapons, Neuro Disruptors, Shredders, Ranger Long Rifles, and Power Swords [3c]. However they also operate specialists such as Shade Runners, Soul Weavers, Kurnathi, Fate Dealers Kurnite Hunters, Starstorm Duelists, and Way Seekers. [3a] The easiest way to guarantee your copy of the ultimate Warhammer magazine is by grabbing a subscription .This can only be worn by a Way Seeker, and it removes the D3 damage you would take from failing to manifest your second psychic power in an activation. The Warrior can choose between two loadouts: It can either equip a Shuriken Rifle with unlimied range and the Rending critical rule that lets it convert a normal hit to a critical hit if it already scored one critical hit in a Shoot action (and Fists for melee), or a Shuriken Pistol (like the rifle, but with shorter range) and a Power Weapon with 6 critical damage and the ability to score critical hits on a 5+. That’s a very good melee weapon for an operative of which you can take 8 in your kill team. Add to this the mobility the Warrior gets from Aeldari Raiders, and it’s not hard to argue that you should equip any Warriors in your kill team with the pistol/Power Weapon combo and go hunting for as many critical hits as you can before anyone can retaliate. Voidscarred Gunner (1 per kill team, can’t be in the same team as a Heavy Gunner) Once you’ve got your kill teams and rules, you’ll also need somewhere for them to fight! Killzone Chalnath gives you a city sector’s worth of ruined buildings to battle over – ideal whether you want to start a new terrain collection or add to an existing one. The kit includes five ruined walls for your operatives to use as cover, two massive ruined buildings, and a game board. While many Corsairs hail from the craftworlds, there are also displaced denizens of Commorragh, former Harlequins and wantaway Exodites. This vibrant mix of cultures makes every Corsair fleet a bubbling cauldron of character, highly individualistic and determined to live life by no code but their own. Pirate Lord: Once per battle, you can use the Light Fingers, Deadly Ambush or Opportunistic Fighters Tactical Ploy without spending any CPs if this operative is the CORSAIR VOIDSCARRED operative specified by that Tactical Ploy. Earlier this year the enigmatic Aeldari Corsairs arrived in the 41st Millennium * in the Kill Team: Nachmund boxed set. It wasn’t long before the updated Codex: Aeldari brought these debonair privateers to the battlefields of Warhammer 40,000.More importantly though, I had an incredible time getting to know people, seeing everyone’s teams, and learning different playstyles. My enjoyment truly derived, in the main, from the enthusiasm and sportsmanship of the average Kill Team player, which was on full display in Manchester. The pre-final wrap-up and awards ceremony had a great vibe to it. The Neuro Disruptor has a critical damage of 5, the Armour Penetration 1 Special Rule and the Stun Critical rule, which lets you subtract 1 from the target’s Action point Limit until the end of its next activation on a critical hit from the Neuro Disruptor – great for crippling a nearby threat to your Leader.This scores you 1 Victory Point at the start of the first Turning Point after the second where you have more Victory Points than your opponent, and another Victory Point at the subsequent Turning Point if you still have a higher score. Soul Guard To manifest the psychic power, you must first pass a Psychic test. The opposing player can then select one of their PSYKER units that is within 24" of the PSYKER unit attempting to manifest the power and attempt to deny that power before its effects are resolved by passing a Deny the Witch test. My first game was against the eventual winner of the tournament (congrats Dan!), running the full gamut of Navy Breacher specialists. Lots of tools, more activations than me, and in many cases as tough or tougher. I sensed that trading models would not go in my favour, plus a vague awareness that Navy Breachers were… good? The eclectic raiders that make up a Corsair warband come from all walks of Aeldari life, and those drawn from a craftworld bear a spirit stone. This psychoreactive gem absorbs an Aeldari’s soul when they perish, keeping it safe from the hunger of Slaanesh until it can be returned to its craftworld – and perhaps be installed in a sleek wraithbone construct . In the later stages of a battle, when your kill team has split up to swipe whatever objectives they can, the Plunderers Strategic Ploy lets you give multiple operatives a push in the right direction. Combined with their own free Dash , Corsairs can slide into position for crucial Tac Ops objectives that require both their Action Points, like Plant Signal Beacon.
