It is important to decide what you want to listen to before buying a scanner - it is false economy to buy a cheaper one only to find later that it misses out some frequencies that you would like to listen to. With your 150 your bumping in the Frequencies by hand . It can be done with the 996 and 15x but The scanners sweetspot is tailored at decoding digital audio and basically everything to do with the menu system is related to this .

The SDS200 is Sentinal based using a data base here a RR. Yes you have the option of Favorites and adding seperate frequencies but If you upgrade the firmware or reprogram the radio after the upgrade the DMR and ProVoice functions will remain

All in all, it's a great scanner and I look forward to many years of fun with it. I hope to buy an SDS 100 soon so I can have a portable scanner as good as the SDS 200. If your not used to menu driven radios this can be daunting but my advice is to persevere , you will get used to these menus over time .
