My favorite way to use Cloud Paint is to blend two shades together! Obviously each is gorgeous on their own, but I love feeling like an ~artist~ mixing paints together on a palette (my hand, lol). Plus, the deeper shades like Haze (a deep berry) benefit from a little toning down from, say, Dusk (a brownish 'nude') or Puff (a light pink). I just dot — to be precise, four dots in a slightly upwards-curving line — from the apples of my cheeks outwards and lightly pat with a trusty sponge to diffuse the color. The gel-cream formula just blends so seamlessly / like no other blush I've ever used, and it's a piece of cake to use. It doesn't make pores look more apparent and just gliiiiides over your skin for a dewy-looking flush. And if I have too many glasses of wine, I can blame any flush on the blush. (Or just own it, because I. Love. Wine.) One of my favorites is Bob Ross, who was a brain of painting landscapes and clouds. His techniques were always precise, yet he encouraged artists to embrace their own creativity and find their own style. Mainly, in the presence of excessive natural light, this color will look lighter – well, something like SW Let it Rain. Whereas on the other hand, in the absence of natural light, this color will almost appear dark blue-grayish. With an LRV of 12, this color fits perfectly into the dark blue-gray section and can be used in your home, especially in north-facing rooms, as accent walls. If you use it in rooms facing other directions (south and west), it may look lighter and washed away due to the intensity of natural light.
