We attached soiled swatches to the towels and followed the instructions, using powder detergent. We removed the swatches from the towels after using the bag for three minutes. Scrubba does make a travel towel that would help with this. It weights about 6 oz, and is big enough to use as a beach towel at a little over 25″ x 54″. While we’ve thoroughly enjoyed putting this thing to the test, we have found that the Scrubba Wash Bag will leave your clothes very wet after washing—hopefully their next product will be a portable clothes dryer (if only). It’s only the same as handwashing would, but it’s still a pain, and we’d highly recommend pressing your clothes inside a towel before hanging them up.
