About this deal

Piccolo is a cordon cherry tomato that grows well in greenhouse conditions. It produces reliable crops of long, cascading fruit trusses with uniform, round, red cherry fruits, as well as whole trusses ripening at the same time, making it ideal for use as ‘on the vine’ tomatoes. That’s it for this week – I know that some of you have already started sowing, so if you have, I hope your seedlings are doing well! Indeterminate tomato varieties often referred to as “Vine” or “Cordon” types, and will keep growing and producing new growth even after the initial fruit is set, and will usually continue producing tomatoes until poor weather kills the plant. Harvests will last for several months if the plants are cared for. I find that seeds taken from my own tomatoes the season before, are always more vigorous than bought seeds.
