About this deal

The 55.5 cc X-TORQ engine not only produces an impressive 2.6 kW / 3.5 power output but also reduces exhaust emission levels by up to 75%, reducing fuel consumption by up to 20% in comparison to other conventional two-stroke engines. There’s a pre-separation air filtration system for the long life of the air filter. The saw is engineered with high-powered, high-tech, low-maintenance features. With a 55.5cc engine and power of 3.76 bhp, it’s capable of handling the guide bar ranging from 16 to 20 inches. For those of you looking for a trusted brand as Husqvarna, this chainsaw can be the one to consider. It’s no surprise that the Husqvarna models are equipped with x-torq engines. In situations where the power tools need to adhere to strict environmental rules, these models find their way with low emissions. With no cutting ability compromised, the x-torq engine reduces the output emissions along with low fuel consumption. Low-Vibration With a 55.5cc engine, it handles the bar length up to 20 inches. Not to forget the low emissions and low fuel uptake it requires. We can’t deny the fact that it’s one of the gold standards that Husqvarna has to offer. Ergonomics It provides a comfortable grip on your hand with a 7-degree offset handle. Along with that, it reduces fatigue while the saw is on run. Easy to Start

About HusqvarnaBelieve it or not, Husqvarna did not start off by manufacturing any type of garden machinery at all. Instead they were established in 1689 as a weapons foundry supplying the Swedish Armed Forces. During the subsequent years, diverse and varied products have been produced, from sewing machines and cast iron kitchen equipment through to bicycles and motorbikes. It wasn't until 1959 that Husqvarna finally made its first chainsaws and engine-driven lawnmowers. The company's reputation for build quality and durability of product has never been in question. This is probably the reason for their line of professional petrol chainsaws being so popular with forestry workers across the globe. Despite plenty of merits, the cons are inevitable. There might be some features that limit the use of particular chainsaws. And similar is the case with the 455 Rancher. Few disadvantages of using the 455 Rancher are discussed below. Not Powerful Enough For Some The Husky 455 Rancher has all the standard features you would expect on a Husky chainsaw. You can expect one of these saws to last for many years of faithful service when you look after it right. 455 Rancher Review Power tools with vibrations are irritating sometimes. And on top of that, it drops down the confidence to operate, cause fatigue and serious physical health problems. Husqvarna has succeeded to eliminate this risk, thanks to the low-vib technology they add to their chainsaws. The smooth run of the chain depends on the chain lubrication system. With that, I mean the automatic chain oiling system that oils the chain and bar rails efficiently.

After running a 550xp, 562xp, or higher, you will never touch a homeowner saw again. Power-to-weight ratio, and mostly, hand vibrations are the major factor for me. It’s no doubt that the 455 rancher is an absolute workhorse for cleaning up the downed trees, farm works, and felling small to medium trees. But, it’s not the preferred one for the professionals. The power and cutting capacity sometimes limit the use of heavy-duty works. Some people find it less powerful as they might be searching for larger projects. Weight Featuring a petrol two-stroke engine that serves a power displacement of 55.5cc, this Husqvarna 455 Rancher chainsaw has been ergonomically designed to offer the user comfortable use over extended periods of time. Weighing in at just 5.8kg (13lbs), the machine has been fitted with anti-vibration mounts which dramatically reduce the levels of vibration, with the highest single axis measuring 4.5 metres per second. Offering a bar length of 18"/45cm with a chain pitch of 0.325, this all-rounder machine is suitable for both the professional and occasional user. The angled front handle provides a natural grip and a sturdy working position making short work of medium diameter timber, heavy duty firewood and felling larger trees. Additionally, the combined choke/stop control enables much improved precision and impressive ergonomic efficiency. Husqvarna 455 Rancher comes with an engine producing 3.5hp of power. Excellent power coupled with X-torq is all that you can ask for in any all-around chainsaw. This saw works with a maximum speed of 9000 rpm, a bad boy to clear all your tree feelings and firewood works.

Went from a 20” bar to a 16” on my 455. Noticeable difference in performance. Don’t really need the longer bar if cutting 12 to 14″ rounds and the saw seems much peppier. Along with the power, the x-torq engine in the 455 makes it an attractive prospect. A high-performance power that doesn’t harm the environment is always better than just high performance. Keeping in mind the impact carbon emissions makes on the environment, this designated feature gives off fewer emissions.

Situated in the same category as the 455 Rancher, Stihl MS291 is one of the best alternatives. Stihl claims the model is a high-tech chainsaw built around one of the new fuel-saving engines. Stihl, one of the biggest competitors to the Husqvarna, this times adds more new features to the MS291 chainsaw. However, with new, facilitating technology, and ergonomics, the 455 Rancher may be the one you’re looking for. Choosing the perfect one is tough, provided that there are so many Husqvarna models on market. We’ll now outline the features of the 455 that might help you decide whether to buy or not.
