Diesmal mit "L'Homme Ultime" ein frischer, spritziger & sehr jugendlicher Frühlingsableger. Einen richtigen zitrischen L'Homme, geschweige denn einen der mir gefällt, gab es bisher noch nicht... Bisher. Denn Ultime ist ein feines Ding geworden & eines der Highlights diesen Frühling - egal ob Mainstream oder Nische. Ein Bitchslap für alle Kritiker der Flankerpolitik. Aber wie sagt man so schön: Ausnahmen bestätigen die Regel. Die nächsten drei "L'Hommes" werden bestimmt wieder überflüssig bis müllig. Wer weiß. Hoffentlich. Für uns voreiligen Kritiker ;) Nach der kleinen Abschweifung generell zu Flankern zu der L'Homme-Reihe. Die ist wirklich einer meiner Lieblingsreihe neben der 212-Reihe. Die L'Homme-Reihe ist sehr vielseitig und hat für viele Anlässe etwas. Auch die La Nuit de L'Homme-Reihe hat ja diese schöne L'Homme-DNA. Im Winter trage ich auch gerne den L'Homme L'Intense, der wundervoll und süß ist. Insgesamt eine vielseitige Reihe, wo für jeden etwas dabei ist. Wirklich schlechte Flanker habe ich nicht gerochen, wobei ich dennoch nicht alle haben möchte. The fragrance opens with a burst of spicy citrus through bergamot, grapefruit, ginger, and cardamom. Den Duft empfinde ich als frisch,würzig und süß. Eine moderne Kreation, die gut von jüngeren Herren tragbar ist. Auch wenn es nicht der männlichste Duft ist sehe ich wie einige hier nicht den weiblichen Touch. Damen, die nicht zu feminin riechen wollen können diesen Duft natürlich gut tragen. Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme Ultime (2016) was poised as an "ultimate" version of the original YSL L'Homme (2006) composed a decade prior, and as an atypical flanker seeking to improve the original rather than supplement it, I'd say it was a pretty mixed bag that resulted in failure and discontinuation. In some ways, I do like it better because it has a nice "clean rose" that wasn't in the first version, but in other ways I find Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme Ultime to really be more of a supplement than it cares to admit, much like it's brethren since something is lost in translation by stapling rose onto the original L'Homme DNA and adding in a different base material to the equation. The original perfumers Dominique Ropion and Ann Flipo return, but Peter Wargnye sits this one out and is replaced with Juliette Karagueuzoglo, who has also worked on various other L'Homme flankers. L'Homme Ultime didn't set the world on fire any more than the original, but for fans of that rarest of categories known as the masculine floral, this might be the closest one finds within the L'Homme range. As a fan of rose, this stuff barely meets muster to me in that department, but is so nice overall that I can overlook it.You can also wear it at the gym, at casual or formal events, and as the perfect bouquet on your next holiday. Presentation and Value For Money You can wear it during the daytime, but it also suits the nighttime, so you won’t have to juggle between different perfumes. It’s a great choice to wear at the office, where it will have a positive impact on those around you. This will allow you to enjoy a bottle of this nice fragrance for an extended period. When Should You Wear It? Das dürfte vielen auch schon reichen, ein gut gemachter, maskuliner Duft mit fruchtig-herbem Einschlag und einer geheimnisvoll-anziehenden Note, ich bin mir sicher, der wird bei einigen sehr gut ankommen.

If you spray L'Homme Ultime for the first time, an attractive presence is immediately perceptible, which immediately captivates its wearer. Because the fragrance juggles with two contrasting attributes that I particularly like: fruity (slightly floral) freshness on the one hand, and smoky peppery spice on the other: Er startet frisch, aber auch schwer und süß. Die erste halbe Stunde empfinde ich ihn eher als unangenehm und penetrant. Ist für mich irgendwie zu viel des Guten. Danach legt sich das und es entsteht ein gut tragbarer Duft der äußerst angenehm und aromatisch ist. Von Anfang an kommt frische Grapefruit mit Salbei und Ingwer. Ingwer ist sehr interessant und verleiht dem wirklich einen eigenen Touch. Auch Kardamom ist hier durchaus present. Diese Note liebe ich sehr und ich besitze einige mit dieser Note. Auch hier kommt sie gut zur Geltung und verleiht ihm eine kleine Ähnlichkeit zu La Nuit. Für mich als Kardamom-Fan sehr gelungen, da die Note lange erhalten bleibt. Rosige Noten die in der Duftpyramide nehme ich nicht wahr. Eventuell sind sie ganz schwach erhalten oder sie stehen nicht blank da. Zum schluss sorgen noch Zeder und Vetiver für ein gutes Finish. Die Komposition harmoniert gut, außer am Anfang etwas stechend und unangenehm. Ansonsten ein qualitativ guter Duft, der wirklich eine gute Performance hat. Haltbarkeit ist nicht weltklasse, aber für einen frischen Duft im oberen Mittelfeld. Die Sillage ist auch über viele Stunden gut present. Gefällt mir gut. Die L'Homme-DNA ist klar vorhanden. In 2022, Yves Saint Laurent announces L’Homme Eau de Parfum, and thus brings another variation of the 2006 L’Homme fragrance. L’Homme Ultime has been discontinued, but it can still be found as part of various collections at department stores and online. It’s an intriguing combination of sensuality and masculinity through citrus and woody notes enhanced by florals.L’Homme Ultime by YSL is a powerful choice for modern men with surprising delicate notes that emphasize its strength.

It's about time again for a comment on one of my fragrances in my collection!Zur Basis hin kommt dann die zweite, noch angenehmere Überraschung: Wer L´Humaniste kennt, erkennt auch hier diese markante Gin-Note. Hiermit will ich jetzt nicht sagen, das sei ein Duftzwilling; dazu fehlt dem Ultime die Tiefe und das einzigartige, facettenreiche Wacholder-Erlebnis, aber: nichtsdestotrotz hat er diesen schroffen, genialen Gin-Akkord und hebt sich damit wesentlich von den anderen Ablegern ab. Das hellblau des Ultime und das Saphirblau des Bombay Sapphire Gin, kam mir sofort in den Sinn: Mit das Beste, was es derzeit im Mainstream-Segment gibt und auch einer der besten Supermarkt-Gins.
