Hmm, well here's the problem. The software will boot up and you should be able to construct your Toy-Con with no problems using Switch Lite, and a pair of Joy-Con should enable you to operate some of them without a hitch. However, anything which involves the direct interaction between cardboard and the base console won't work with Switch Lite. The Switch Lite measures 91.1mm x 208mm x 13.9mm and weighs 275g, compared to the 102mm x 239mm x 13.9mm dimensions and 297g weight of the original Switch. This means the device comes with a smaller LCD touch screen, measuring just 5.5 inches but still providing 1280 x 720 pixels. The console for gamers on the go. This is one of the more subtle designs for sure (at least in terms of the Joy-Con), but there is a certain elegance to the Smash Bros. Ultimate console that we didn't expect from such a bright and in-your-face franchise. Nintendo Switch Lite's controls are also integrated into the body of the console meaning there are a small handful of games that will no longer function without purchasing extra Joy-Con controllers and connecting them wirelessly to Switch Lite. Games that can be played on Nintendo Switch Lite if you have additional Joy-Con controllers

This was the first special edition Switch that was available worldwide, and Nintendo really got off to a good start. There are a lot of Pokémon-themed consoles out there (including Switch models), but we'd argue that the Let's Go! edition is one of the best. So really the only thing you "can't" do, as supposed to wouldn't want to play on a tiny screen in table-prop mode (nice one by the way) is Labo sets that require the Switch to be in the cardboard, which is basically the 5 piece variety kit. So if a 3DS can't play New 3DS games it's no wonder Switch LITE doesn't Switch. Nintendo being Nintendo, nothing new here. Remember, it is still possible to play these games on your Lite (except Labo — see below), you'll just need a pair of Joy-Con, something to prop up your Switch Lite and exceptional vision to see what you're doing on that 5.5 inch screen.
