About this deal

most of all, these characters just don't feel the same to me anymore. not juliette, not warner, not kenji. it was like all the character development from the previous books was just gone out the window. the writing style felt like the first book again, like it felt like slam poetry. but i didn't care that much when i was reading the first book, because i loved the plot and the characters. Seriously, if it wouldn’t have been for my beloved Jello who had the questionable pleasure to experience my disappointment first hand I most certainly would have never made it through this book! So a huge shout-out to Jello for surviving this buddy read with me! *lol* You’re the best, girl! And I swear I would have never made it through this book without your support! <333 So thank you so much for keeping me company on this hard ride. XD It was tough for both of us but we got through it somehow! *sighs* This said let’s get to the root of the problem:

I kid you not, everything in this universe, and other book universes could have been avoided if there was no BAD PARENTING. It’s HILARIOUS as it is irritating because what do we gotta do in the book world for people to just be dang good parents!!! Like parenting is hard, but parents should love their kid(s) and treat them with the utmost love and kindness. I don’t get it. audience: *loud cheering, screams, people dying on the spot, bloodshed, death, oh so much death so much beauty* Wow. I've finally finished this series or well may be it finished me. Whatever it is. Well that was an amazing series. This whole series was insane and brutal and dark and has the best characters especially the women in this book are everything 🤌🔥 I loved it and yes, I enjoyed it a lot. Believe Me is basically about Warner and Juliette/Ella trying to get married- but encountering unexpected challenges. Will they have their happy ending?I'm going to pretend that this trilogy doesn't exist and Warner and Juliette in Ignite Me lived happily ever after. Though I SUPPOSE the upside to this extra trilogy is Kenji and Nazeera. But I will tell myself they met after Ignite Me and fell in love. Let me live in my imagination. Of course it does. It matters to me. You don’t get to be the only one who worries about the person you love. I get to do that, too,” she says, breaking away to better look me in the eye. “You spend so much time thinking about what’s best for me. You’re always worried about my safety and my happiness and the things I might need. Why don’t I get to do that for you? Why don’t I get to think about your happiness?”

reporter: hello oh you addicts of coverporn! Behold the mother of all covers, the high and mighty, the breathtakingly glorious, the regally magnificent, the utterly parfaite... But nothing learned within the novellas is crucial to the plot of the main series. They’ll only provide extra details that make the novels more impactful. I worry, sometimes, that my love for her will expand beyond the limitations of my body, that it will one day kill me with its heft." Noria is quiet for so long I'm forced to look up, to return my mind to itself. She's staring at me with the strangest look in her eyes, something like guilt - or regret - washing her out completely. This was certainly a downgrade from all the previous books, everything gets worse, characters, plot, world building! I think Mafi did an outstanding job in surprising me which is not an easy feat! Here is what I thought about the characters: this novella had such entertaining scenes especially the scenes between kenji, winston and warner. also, when warner said to kenji if he’s coming to stand beside him at the wedding. WHEN I TELL YOU I CRIED LIKE A LITTLE BABY. These two came such a long way and i don’t care what anyone says they’re best friends!! (obviously juliette is #1 bestie to both guys lol)

I hear them, I see them, I close my eyes and feel them, feathers shuddering in the air, bending the wind, wings grazing my shoulders when they ascend, when they alight. Discordant shrieks ring and echo, ring and echo— No wonder Andersons’ FREAKING BONKERS! No wonder he hated his son and made him FREAKING RUTHLESS because it’s this cycle of violence! Anderson wasn’t raised right, so he showed Warner no mercy and if Warner really didn’t have anyone in his life who was good, he would have turned out as angry, heartless, cold, and bleachful like his darn CRAZY DAD and then he would go off and marry someone else and then I love their friendship so much and even though they argue a lot but they both care for each other so deeply. I’ve never seen Mum smile so much. Mostly she smiles when Dad is around, or when she and Dad are off in the corner, whispering together, but right now it’s just me and Mum and a bunch of birds and she’s so happy I decide to ignore the funny feeling in my stomach. Things are better when Mum is in a good mood.

Summary

I remind myself that we’re indoors—the white walls, the concrete floor under my feet—and I look up at my mother, confused.

I want you to know that I know that and that I see you...I want to give you peace. I want to give you a home. With me." Imagine Me” hoping for a great ending and getting THIS and... A DOG!!! Not even a wedding but a freaking dog??! I understand why Tahereh wrote that scene but I really would have rather wanted to read their wedding scene! Damn it! I just want to share some of my favorite things she wrote in this book because we all just need to soak up her writing like a fine wine 😆.Mi problema con este libro es que no pasó prácticamente nada. I'm happy and sad at the same time. This was absolutely perfect. I'm always gonna love all the characters especially my loves Aaron and Kenji 😭💗 they both are my forever favourite from this series. This series should have remained a trilogy. Life would have been good if it had ended with Ignite Me. But no, I guess life is not in fact, good.
