About this deal

Hollyland Lark M1 is a wireless Lavalier microphone system designed for content creators and people looking for a robust solution for recording on the go. This lightweight system comes with a set of two transmitters and one receiver. On the front of the case are four small lights that tell you how much charge is left, and inside there are three slots to take the transmitters and receiver. The case design is functional rather than aesthetic.

In a few short years, the options for wireless mics have transformed, along with the prices. The RODE Wireless Mic GO and GO II really set the level and since their release, other companies have been hot on RODE’s heels with equally small, and cheap solutions. In essence, the Hollyland Lark M1 and its seamless iPhone integration ensure that high quality audio is easily accessible. Whether you’re a vlogger, live-streamer, or audio enthusiast, the Lark M1 lets you capture your voice in the best possible quality with the utmost convenience. Unbeatable, High Quality Audio with HearClear Noise Cancellation With its superior sound quality and reliable performance, the Lark M1 collar microphone wireless is the ideal choice for any discerning recording engineer. It is also a cheap wireless lavalier microphonefor blogging and shooting. Auto Frequency Hopping Technology & Long Wireless Transmission Distance Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40, Mate 30 Pro, Mate 30, Mate 20, P50 Pro, P40 Pro, P40, P30 Pro, Nova 8, Nova 7, Y9Note 10, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, Redmi Note 8T, Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7, Redmi 10X 4G, The receiver, on the other hand, comes with a 200 mAh rechargeable unit. The maximum juice you can get out of a full charge is stated to be 8 hours again. In real-life situations, this is a little less. For a full charge, the receiver requires about 1.5 hours to charge both the receiver and the transmitters.

If I had to sum up my thoughts in one phrase, I would say – lightweight and compact. That’s exactly what the USP of the Lark M1 is. You could also add the word – functional to it. The design is very similar to the Lark C1. The transmitters/mics and the receiver are very reminiscent of the Lark C1.

One-Button Noise Cancellation

Once slotted into the camera’s hotshoe, the two lights on top will initially flash blue until they connect with one or both of the transmitters. Once that’s done and the lights turn solid, you’re ready to go. The Lark M1 is a cutting-edge omnidirectional mic that adopts LC3 codec technology to achieve an enhanced sample rate and bit depth of up to 48kHz and 16 bits. This means that the Lark M1 clip on mic microphone wireless device is able to create a more complete and accurate reproduction of audio and record vocal range sounds with incredible accuracy and detail. With the Hi-Fi sound quality, you can rest assured that there is less distortion of the sound, and you will never miss any important sound information, delivering a pleasant listening experience.

When talking about the Lark M1 lavalier microphone wireless device, you may wonder what exactly the differences are between the Lark M1 and Lark 150 (Hollyland’s first innovation in wireless lavalier mic production). Lightweight & Portable--Hollyland Lark M1 lavalier microphone weighs only 0.42oz with the size of a USB flash drive and fits all kinds of collars. The charging case takes 1.5h to charge the whole set and can charge them 2 times. TX and RX can work for 8 hours when fully charged. Each unit has a USB-C port for direct charging while working at the same time. Furthermore, this device ensures that superior sound quality does not come at the cost of complexity. Its user-friendly design enables you to easily toggle between HearClear and normal modes, catering to your specific recording needs. Compact Design and Remarkable Transmission Distance Otherwise, if you’re only going to use the system in mono mode, you can ensure that both sides of the frame are recorded on the same channel. Performance and audio quality Starting with the charger case, the design is simple and matches many of the device charger cases I have seen in the last few months. However, it’s unusual to see one provided by the manufacturer and not by a third party, which is a nice touch. The odd thing is that while I like the design of the transmitter mics and receiver, which are all very compact and elegant, the charging case is a little bland. The build and handling are excellent, I may not be overly impressed with the aesthetics of the charging case, but the transmitters and receivers are expertly designed. The only quibble with the transmitter mics is the large logo you’ll need to cover with tape. Aside from the audio quality, the two other aspects that stood out were noise interference. The 2.4GHz channel hopping seemed to do the job; even with mobile phones on and receiving texts, there was no interference. The second quality test was the working distance, which Hollyland state is up to 200m. This 200m is clear sight, and that distance dramatically reduces once a wall or floor is placed between the transmitter and the receiver. Still, the quality and transmission between units were excellent, and there were no issues with an audio break-up to a distance of around 100m clear distance with only a slight break-up from 150-200m.
