I'm not disappointed in the slightest, it was a doddle to fit as the water intake pipes and mains connections matched the old shower, the only thing I had to do was drill 4 new holes in the tiled wall. Very happy, would recommend to anyone replacing an old shower fed from a water cylinder and loft tank. But this Triton shower is more than just a pretty face. It also comes with some great features that make it a perfect replacement for your existing power shower. For instance, it has multiple cable and water entry points, including the Triton Swivel-Fit water inlet, enabling top, rear or bottom entry for easy installation. It also features an adjustable maximum temperature stop which is especially handy if you have little ones in the house who might accidentally turn the temperature up too high. I had an earlier version of this shower which developed a fault and kept tripping the electric. It lasted about 5 years of twice or more daily use.

The Triton AS2000SR Silent Running Thermostatic Power Shower Kit comes in a sleek contemporary style that will compliment any bathroom suite. This Kit contains an thermostatic shower unit, an adjustable rail, a round 3-mode shower handset, and an anti-twist hose; all in a gloss white and chrome finish. Bought this to replace a 15 year old Triton which was making awful noises and losing pressure. Perfect straightforward replacement as the pipe inlets are in exactly the same position as the old one. It's much quieter than the original was even when new. If it lasts as long it'll see me out!

Amazingly quiet for a power shower (the plumber didn't think it was working). Shower unit was easy replacement to fit. Only downside was regarding the risers which are not of a standard size with older Triton models and therefore require more holes to drill in tiles. To sum up, if you're in need of a replacement power shower at a very reasonable price I don't think you can go wrong with this unit and the speed of service from Plumbworld is excellent.

I have changed the spray head to one that has the little ceramic balls in and that's improved the feel of pressure so much so that it doesn't need to be on full power all the time. I bought this to replace the previous Triton shower which was 8 years old. This one is quieter, more powerful and cheaper than the older version. I'm delighted with it. My only negative comment is that the fixing holes don't line up with my older model.No big deal the footprint is identical and the bar/shower head holder uses exactly the same fittings. Excellent! Recommended replacement showers are based on same side water and electrical entry points (i.e. left hand or right hand), the kW rating and water supply. All recommended replacement showers are based on models with the same or similar footprint to minimise cosmetic differences. Where it is not possible to replace with the exact same model, several factors will need to be considered: We were replacing a failed unit we had restored in 2012 which had always performed well if noisily. If you are thinking of increasing the kW rating of your shower the installation will need to be inspected by a Part P registered Electrician and your shower circuit may need upgrading, as necessary.

Suitable for low pressure gravity fed systems only - Hot and cold water supply required from a cold water cistern and a hot water cylinder Our old Triton power shower was becoming tired, time for an update. Bought this as a direct replacement and it was advertised as near silent running. Installs fine - no major problems, just had to drill 2 extra fixing holes which didn't line up with the old ones. Commissioned using enclosed intructions and hey presto, superb power shower again and very quiet indeed. Great product, best price on the internet via Plumbworld very pleased indeed. This was a replacement for an earlier Triton thermostatic shower, which turns out it didn't need replacing after all! However, I'm really glad we did as this is overall a far better shower. Okay, the water pressure doesn't go as high as the previous one but I never had it gushing out anyway. It's not quite silent but is a world away from the noise of our old one, and it looks so much better on the wall than the previous one. It also has a dial on the front to adjust the speed of the pump, which also serves to reduce its volume. That said, it is so quiet that you barely hear it outside of the bathroom. We have a relatively new build, so hollow partition walls everywhere. The old one reverberated around the entire house. This one you can barely hear in the room next-door. Recommended replacement showers are based on the distance between the hot and cold water inlet pipes and the valve type. This is to limit disruption to your tiles, wall and current plumbing. Unless you are replacing with the exact same model, several factors will need to be considered:

Was very surprised with this shower, lots of pressure very quiet, I got exactly what I expected when purchasing it. I like the internal design where it uses an isolation transformer to power the sealed brushless motor and control board. It should be very safe electrically! Some say, the flow rate isn't as good but when I measured it on full power against my old Triton it came out to be the same at 9 l/m however at the mid position it was only 4.5 l/m compared to 6 l/m for the old one. That was using the hose and shower head in the mid position. Still it's good to save water and energy and my wife can't tell the difference... If you are upgrading your water system from gravity fed storage tanks to a mains fed system such as a Combination Boiler, a power shower is no longer suitable. This model, as Triton claim, is silent running. You can also have a shower from one day to the next without altering the temperature settings.

Consists of: Thermostatic power shower, rub-clean 5-mode showerhead, 1.25m anti-twist hose, riser rail This is the third or fourth power shower we've had in our en suite over the past twenty plus years. This one is heaven; with a strong quiet flow and reliable temperature. The on/off button eliminates any need for re-tweaking settings. Having installed this one myself I'm now familiar with the commissioning process so in future, when the water supply has had to be drained for any reason, I'll now prime the pump properly to avoid cavitation. I'm hoping this will increase its life and I'll not need to replace it any time soon.
