About this deal

I love this fragrance so much that I often just sneak into my closet, open the cap to smell it right off the sprayer. And quite some times I just spray it in the house just to enjoy the smell of it. This is really addictive to me. In the opening you get the cambodian oud with full strenght, blended with cinnamon and nutmeg. This notes will stay active for the entire longevity of the fragrance. The heart notes serve mainly the purpose of building a bridge for the base notes blending, and the scent become sweeter and smoother then. The drydown is very pleasant with the strong different woods softened by the sweetness of cinnamon and vanilla, and the smoothed by a confortable amber. Anyway, to my conclusion- ish: if you like a smoky wood type fragrance and have good experiences with Oudh I can definitely recommend Ameer Al Oudh Intense oud. I have yet to see another cheapie with such beastmode performance. I do think you will need to look for a decant or sample first because it isn't a safe blind buy.

I'd say if the idea of a sweet, spicy bandaid sounds good to you, this is the scent for you. Unlike most Western Houses I must admit Middle Eastern Houses have mastered Longevity and Sillage. this was my first "Gulf fragrance " as many arabs call it. and I never regret it . it is so nicely done and performance is decent. Absolute beast longevity wise too, good 8-10 hours out of this and the projection is perfect, not too loud, not a skin scent, just radiates around you in a little bubble. This fragrance is making me hungry. 🤤 I'm glad I got two bottles of this. One I'm reviewing is a November 2022 batch. The other is from March 2023 and I hope it won't smell different. An oriental wood sandalwood-oud combo with a synthetic general woodiness, a very sweet opening and a creamy vanilla throughout. LATTAFA defines lifestyle and offer unforgettable creations through elegant Arabian Oud perfumes for all… Made in U.A.E. Bought this on a whim after looking at the notes I was not sold however, my friend who also loves fragrances says it’s actually quite nice. So I did buy it on the basis of if I don’t like it, it doesn’t matter because it doesn’t cost a lot. As said earlier, my fragrance isn't as it should be yet, but being reintroduced to half its pyramid did jiggle my olfactory memory. The only thing I get now is Oud and other wood, but once the balance is restored Intense Oud gave quite a nice scent on my skin. I remember a strong smoky woody perfume with hints of soft leather and a caramel-like accent that softens the strong oud and deepens the fragrance. I get the first half now and pretty much a double dose of it, since there's no softening touch.

I had a 10ml decant of this for testing as for me MM fragrances are always hit or miss, I love some, I dislike others, none of them are in the middle. That review below was HILARIOUS! 😄 Anyway, Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud smells to me not similar, but reminds me of the best aspects of my two favorite Lattafa fragrances: Qaa'ed and Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends. Also, this juice STAYS. I sprayed my arm yesterday morning, and I found it to be a bit suffocating through the night! So if you end up loving this juice, you may find this bottle will last you a while, as a little goes a long way. The performance is quite high and you are bound to have a 10~12 hours longevity and a sillage of more than six feet at its peak. BTW! Layering recommendations: Try this with Zara Rich Warm Addictive or Lattafa's Ana Abiyedh Rouge - they both make it a little more sweet and blend very amazingly together. <3

Opens with a huge blast of harsh alcohol, never a concern to me though as it dissipates soon enough. There is undoubtedly a strong chemical solvent smell that lingers after the opening, it’s something I enjoy to be fair but would easily be hated by some. Sits roughly in the territory of the plastic/vinyl note I get from Kenzo pour homme, where as the Kenzo is like a cheap pool inflatable, the Ameer almost reminds me of a softer whiff of diethyl ether perhaps. I was hoping for (chasing) an oud with strong medicinal (or band aid) qualities, after recently falling in love with Guilty Absolute Pour Homme. I get a hint of it but not nearly enough to meet my craving. There is a pretty mellow sour oud, with (slightly charred) sugary vanilla and little else to my nose. Compliments: 8.0 (With an increasing number of people enjoying oriental woody sweet fragrances, I realy do think that this fragrance will please to a wide range of people of both genders; the number of compliments I received exceeded my expectations) Day 2- I have not smelled that cumin tinge I smelled at the initial spray. It seems a little less dusty/powdery and more sweet. Hoping it becomes even better after letting it sit a while. Growing on me :) I've been wearing it every day for a week straight after I got it. And I know it's spring and I hoarded a buncha spring perfumes to specifically wear IN SPRING... but I'm too addicted to this one :') These are different, although there are similarities with oud, vanilla & woods. However, Aoud Vanille is more complex and has stronger performance, with an oud-ier presence up front.
