They give you better grip on the canvas, better ankle stability, better movement, make you more comfortable in classic boxing stances, and in doing so give you more speed and more power. There are a few extra things to consider. First off, low-tops come in varying ranges of “low”. Some are below the ankle, some are right on the ankle, and some are even above the ankle.
