About this deal

Book: James, Terry . Waggoners' Walk: The Story Continues . . London . 1982 . First published 1980 . 11 . 0-552-11927-X. Waggoners' Walk was introduced as a successor to the long-running The Dales (1948–1969) which had been cancelled due to the illness of the lead actress Jessie Matthews. [2] The programme was created by writers Jill Hyem and Alan Downer; its origins lay in their Saturday Night Theatre production of The Ropewalk, broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in January 1969. [3] This play featured some of the same characters, actors and theme tune of Waggoners' Walk with the story centring on three women who share a flat in Hampstead. [4] The views are fantastic, and the host was so friendly and couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome." Its on a lovely farm run by some lovely people. You wake up to some amazing views and the sound of animals. It is truly beautiful.

A great property, immaculately clean and kitted out with everything you could need. Plenty of parking at the front, and nice gardens to sit out in (too cold for us to do this unfortunately) and a big play area for the kids. The seaside resort of Bridlington lies on the east coast of Yorkshire, south of Scarborough and Filey. Two award-winning beaches of golden sand stretch out on either side of the historic harbour, bustling with activity. Beautifully designed promenades provide everything from fun-fairs to quiet places where you can sit and watch the world go by. Shops, attractions, restaurants and the historic 'Old Town' of Bridlington offer a fascinating contrast to life on the beach, where the latest Dad's Army has been filmed, whilst the Bridlington Spa Theatre on the front provides evening entertainment. There is also the East Riding Leisure Centre, with family swimming area and a variety of other indoor activities. Further afield are the picturesque villages and scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds, the neighbouring resorts of Filey, Scarborough and Whitby and the spectacular heritage coastline. There are numerous places to visit in the area, including Bempton's RSPB bird sanctuary, Sewerby Hall, Danes Dyke and Flamborough Head with its cliffs and caves. A great area for bird and nature lovers, or simply for touring. Waggoners' Walk . Radio Times . BBC Publications . England . 237 . 2950 . 50 . 22 May 1980 . 29 January 2020 . After 11 years the plot continues in this the last week of Waggoners' Walk. Listen to the final episode on Friday 30 May!. This cottage is in an excellent position about 1 mile from the town of Bridlington making easy to access the wonderful sandy beeches and town."My partner and I had a fantastic week here, the hosts were brilliant and so lovely and definitely went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. The only thing I had an issue with was the hardness of the pillows and because I suffer from chronic pain it caused me an issue but it was easily resolved. The weather while we were here topped off an absolutely amazing holiday. We would definitely stay here again in a heart beat. Waggoners' Walk". Radio Times. Vol. 237, no. 2950 (England ed.).
