You can improve their fine motor skills and artistic ability by practising drawing and colouring these blank faces. They can aim to be realistic or totally abstract! Don't be self-conscious when you're talking to people. When you're in the moment, try to just go with it instead of thinking about yourself. Look into the other person's eyes and really see him or her. If you're genuinely glad to see the person, and they say something that pleases you, you'll break into a natural smile. When you're feeling nervous about how you come off to other people, it will come through in your smile. Instead of worrying about what impression you're making, let yourself feel free to be expressive. Try an eyes-only smile. Do you feel that you've mastered the classic Duchenne? Try it without your lips. Those who are truly skilled at smiling with their eyes can express happiness or mirth without moving their mouth.
