About this deal

Reconnecting is not automatic: The Logitech K830 doesn’t seem to reconnect to the Quest 2 automatically after the Quest 2 is turned off. Instead, I have to pair it again with the Quest 2. To determine if your Logitech device is Unifying compatible, look for this Unifying logo on your device. The Fn key itself is dumped on the right side (again a perversion of standard layouts). Where Logitech *should* have put the Windows logo on Win key as per Microsoft's specifications, they wrote "Start". Logitech just fight with your muscle memory. Dell is very "standard" layout. If you can get past the sound from the keyboard, you’ll find that there’s no way to control sound from your TV box. Sure, there are media controls letting you fast forward and rewind, but there’s no volume control. You’ll be forced to use the function keys, which can have spotty compatibility within certain apps. A Unifying receiver looks like the image below, and it does not work with products that are not Unifying compatible.

I think Logitech read my mind because literally every single one of them was fixed in its replacement the K400 Plus. By making typing easy even in the dark, this illuminated keyboard ensures your TV entertainment is fun and hassle-free. That may not sound like a lot, but if you’ve got anything other than “little kid hands”, you’ll probably have difficulty typing without errors. In my normal typing test, I had rattled off three typos before I even finished the first sentence. The extra space on the K400 Plus comes in handy and I don’t think Rii gained anything by making the keyboard slightly smaller than its competition. Keep in mind though, Logitech makes it very clear that this is a “living room HTPC keyboard for your connected TV.” Silent keys won’t disturb your friends during the movie. Logitech K830 Illuminated Living-Room Keyboard QWERTY UK LAYOUT Perfect condition, ex-display / oem 12 months warranty! No Virtual Desk. Oculus also previously showed that you would be able to create a VR model for your desk, and put it in its corresponding place in VR. However, I didn’t see this feature yet in Oculus Quest app version 28. I expect that it will be like the keyboard and you’ll be able to see a passthrough view of objects on top of your desk. (Otherwise, it would not be practical to simply have the desk appear in VR without being able to see objects on top of it). With Logitech K600, you can either choose to connect via Bluetooth or the 2.4GHz wireless option. And while most wireless keyboards offer only up to 10m of range, the K600 has an exceptional range of 15m, enough for the largest of living rooms. The K600 can connect up to three devices at once allowing you to easily switch between your smart TV, PC, and mobile devices.

Since I like to work and play from a living-room setup with a 55″ inch TV and eGPU and am a proud rabbit-father, I’ve been a wireless keyboard and mouse fan for years now. I’ve tried a few different options for my setup over the years, and in this article I’d like to share my thoughts regarding a Logitech K400 Plus, K830, and MX Keys wireless keyboard comparison, as part as my search for the best such keyboard. The KeyboardsOn the bottom of the K830 are four rectangular rubber feet to give it a little extra traction on smooth surfaces.
