About this deal

Vox's Valvetronix range of amplifiers changed what the world thought of modelling amps. By using valve emulating technology and mixing it together with real analogue wizardry these amplifiers managed to deliver powerful tones in a small practice format. The VT20X and the rest of this new generation of Valvetronix amps improve the formula with an all new modelling engine and in depth editing tools. This extends to the VT20X. Its amp-emulating tones are close enough to satisfy most audiences, and most bedroom guitar players simply looking to capture the vibe and attitude of their favorite tones.

Also, one thing that User Manual fails to communicate well is the actual functions of the Tube and The “BIAS” and “CHANNEL” switch. What do these really do for you, and why and how it affects your tone.It gives us only vague explanations. I tried to explain those above, hopefully that clarified things. But a couple of things…does that preamp tube relay bring you closer to real tube tones? Honestly, I don’t think so. I have tested other electric guitar amps modeling tube tones and they sound equally good without and preamp tube (Yamaha THR30 for example).

Specifications

If I played in an extremely versatile cover band that needed a wide range of tones, this amp, perhaps mic-ed up and run through the PA, might come in very handy.

Hall reverb=Gives a great ambiance to tone. Works great with distorted leads and with cleans overall. Collection and delivery costs are included for the first 2 years in the event of an item becoming faulty DELUXE CL、TWEED 4×10、VOX AC30、BOUTIQUE OD、VOX AC30TB、BRIT 800、BRIT OR MKII、DOUBLE REC、BOUTIQUE CL、BRIT 1959、BOUTIQUE METAL EFFECTS: Because this is a digital amplifier the quality of the tone is kind of reliant on the DSP. This is a technology that has moved a lot in the last few years so Vox have managed to drastically improve the quality of this amplifier over previous generations without heavily increasing the price. If you liked the sound of the Vox Valvetronix amps before this one only improves on them. Here's what Vox say about the Valvetronix VT20XThe blend of a meticulously sealed chassis along with a unique bass-reflex design ensures the efficient delivery of potent sound and a profound low-end, without generating any undesirable resonances. These amplifiers are capable of producing a sound of immense magnitude, significantly surpassing their physical size. Fine tune with Tone Room software Effects are pivotal in moulding your sound. The VT20X and VT40X offer four distortion and dynamics effects for placement before the amp stage, four spatial-type effects such as flanger and delay, and four reverbs, totalling to 12 in-built effects. Alongside Noise Reduction, you can employ up to four effects concurrently. Furthermore, each effect comes with multiple parameters, offering you the liberty to instantly achieve your desired sound. A handy tap switch is also included, facilitating easy setting of delay time or modulation speed. Up to 30 presets This combination of digital and analog makes gives the amp a very natural sound. This is truly one of the best-sounding modeling amps I have ever played. The VT20X is able to produce a very smooth, crisp, clean tone as well as very heavy and aggressive distortion and almost everything in between. For bedroom guitarists who mostly record videos for posting online, this amp would be useful, although I understand that most online players use DAWs in lieu of a real amp. The VT20X is a hybrid amp that uses both digital and analog methods to reproduce the sounds of other amps.
