Creative Play

For some people, self-esteem can vary in different situations. Everyone has different characteristics – things that determine how we view ourselves. How you feel about one characteristic can be very different to how you feel about another. For example, you might like your sense of humour, but dislike how you respond to a crisis. This worksheet can be an excellent way for young children to explore what makes them good and likable people, and to help them build a foundation of healthy self-esteem. Make a plan. Set achievable and realistic short-term goals for yourself to complete in the next week or so. Achieving something, no matter how small, can be an excellent boost to your motivation.
