Fully Integrated ConnectivityThe Fantom 8 has the largest keyboard of the 3 new models, with the full complement of 88 keys. The combination of wood and plastic, along with escapement or “let off” mechanism makes for a truly authentic playing experience. Expansive Tone & Rhythm Bank and Scene Creation The keycaps are floating, which means you are able to see the bases of the switches and the RGB lighting exudes out. The floating keycap design isn’t for everyone- personally it isn’t my favorite because I think it makes keyboards appear bulkier. The Fantom 8 makes use of two sound generators; for the realism and flexibility of acoustic piano sounds, the V-Piano Technology crafts piano sounds to every taste. The Zen-Core Engine allows complex layers and sequences to be created with great polyphony and 128 LFOs (Low-Frequency Oscillators) per voice for added texture and scope.

The Fantom now has its biggest update yet with version 2.0 which introduces huge sampling capabilities.
