Let’s learn all about the Magic of the Encanto! Encanto takes place in the colorful mountains of Colombia, where magical things happen all of the time. The Disney Encanto movie revolves around the story of the Madrigals, an extraordinary family that live in a magical house, and especially around a 15-year-old girl, called Mirabel (our favorite character), that struggles to find her place. In her village, every child gets an extraordinary power, except herself. Give each child a piece of construction paper, and have them draw a door. This can be cut out on three sides so that it “opens.” Since Disney released its hit movie, Encanto, we’ve all found ourselves singing the songs in our head. At one point, Isabela had a dorky suitor named "Bubo Marquez", with whom she would elope, leaving the Encanto. But this was eventually scrapped as the staff took Isabela's character to a new direction which didn't involve a man. [5] [4]

However, she soon finds out about a big problem coming up to the village that puts the magic surrounding the Encanto in danger, and she finds out she’s this charmed place’s last hope and she’s the only one that can save this magical family. Like many animated films, Encanto ends with a positive message that will keep kids and adults inspired and most importantly, with a feeling of pride in being who we are. Even without superpowers, we are special and unique in the world. Isabela was born twenty one years before the events of the movie on August 7 th [2] and is the oldest daughter of Julieta and Agustin Madrigal. In the early years of her life, Isabela lived in the nursery of the Casita with her cousin Dolores who is a few weeks younger than her, and eventually her younger sister Luisa who is two years younger than her. Born in Medellín, Colombia and raised in Miami, Latin GRAMMY®-nominated singer/songwriter Yatra said, “It’s always been a dream of mine to be a part of a Disney movie and it really hits the heart when it’s a Disney movie about my country and showing the best of what we have to offer, which is love and family and miracles.” Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” tells the tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto. Luisa is a confident, healthy woman who possesses superhuman strength and resilience. The painting details her toned and muscular body, demonstrating her abilities and health. To color this picture, kids should preview images of Luisa in the movie or create unique colors that match the character’s appearance. Encanto Family: This is a picture of the Encanto family, family members gathered together. This is also the most familiar picture, as we can see it everywhere. The end of the story brings profound lessons and human values to everyone. Choose colors according to your preferences and color this picture vividly, kids! Each character will have different images, personalities, and characteristics. Therefore, kids should choose and color the characters through colors to show off their attributes, abilities, and beauty. Print out these shape templates and carefully cut along the dotted lines to make nature view finders in the shapes of a butterfly, a flower and a heart. Being the first grandchild of the Madrigals, she is described as the "golden child" of the family due to her grace, beauty, and gift. In this sound scavenger hunt, kids can use their sense of hearing to notice and observe the sounds of nature all around us.

Mirabel Madrigal: Mirabel is Isabela's youngest sister. When they were younger, Isabela and Mirabel were very close, but drifted apart as they got older. By the start of the film, their relationship had become so strained that they have mutual contempt for each other. Isabela's dislike of Mirabel is shown several times throughout the film, such as being visibly annoyed when she accidentally flipped her hair in Mirabel's face and Mirabel got mad, subsequently commenting that Mirabel was in the way, rolling her eyes at Mirabel when she interrupted Antonio's party to warn everyone that the house was in danger, and glaring at Mirabel during dinner with the Guzmáns. She even proclaimed that she hated Mirabel and that Mirabel ruined her life. Despite this, their relationship dramatically improves during the song " What Else Can I Do?", when Mirabel was able to see what her sister actually felt and encouraged her to embrace her imperfection. By the end of the song, the two sisters hug which causes the magic to become stronger and the candle to burn brighter.

Teaching about the latest events?

Later that same morning, Isabela and Alma are talking about Mariano, and Isabela agrees with Alma that her and Mariano are a perfect match. Mariano Guzmán: Mariano was initially Isabela's soon-to-be fiancé by the will of her grandmother Alma. Although she does not treat him badly, Isabela never loved Mariano nor was she interested in him. In " The Family Madrigal", Isabela does not even look at Mariano when Mirabel sings about him and gets angry with Camilo when he shapeshifts Mariano, showing from the beginning that Isabela had a hard time accepting that she had to marry the man. During the dinner proposal, Isabela was nice to Mariano, but had a visibly forced smile on her face during his proposal due to her unhappiness with the arrangement, and the fact that she doesn't want to marry him, something that she didn't show to anyone except her youngest sister Mirabel. She also broke his nose twice, once during the proposal, and the other during " What Else Can I Do?", and saying that his nose looks like a smashed papaya during her argument with Mirabel, before she asked her if she has lost her mind. Despite having a slight dislike for Mariano, Isabela seems to still recognize Mariano is a good guy and at least someone to be friends with, even though she doesn’t want to marry him. At the party in Antonio's new room, she dances and chatting amiably with Mariano during " All of You", she was happy when Mariano fell in love with her cousin Dolores and became a couple with her. To make this super easy craft, have the youngsters trace and cut out two large circles from construction paper.

Walt Disney Animation Studios welcomes global Latin superstar Maluma to the “Encanto” voice cast. Maluma lends his voice to town heartthrob, Mariano, the soon-to-be fiancé of Mirabel’s perfect and poised sister Isabela.“‘Encanto’ is such a magical movie,” said Maluma. “I’m from Colombia and the story is about a Colombian family. I’m proud to be part of this beautiful story. It means so much to me as I’m very passionate about sharing my country’s cultural values and story globally.” After breakfast was over, Isabela expresses annoyance for Mirabel who accidentally walks into her while trying to chase after Luisa who left the table in a hurry.

Yes, the Disney movie Encanto is in English, but like with other Disney movies, I’m sure it will be either subtitled in other languages or dubbed in other languages so the world can enjoy it, however at this time, it is only being released in English.
