worked with partners to publish the 7 Inclusive Principles for the Arts, a document that has had far-reaching impact in the UK and internationally during the pandemic. In fact, the author openly gives credit for the well known personalities from whom he has extracted opinions - such as Ralph Waldo Emerson, Napoleon Hill, Winston Churchill and many more - while sharing his own principles. This photo was taken in the early 2000’s, when our Club Attitude nights were at their height, taking place every two months and being hosted by The Spitz in Spitalfields Market, East London. Even from the beginning of Attitude is Everything, I was determined that the programme wouldn’t last for one year; my vision remains that it’ll last for as long as it’s needed. I was also focused on developing the programme wider than just supporting disabled audiences because disabled people aren’t just passive receivers of music, they’re also talented creators and employees too.I describe myself as a ‘professional gig-goer’ – watching bands from aged 13. I’m also a disabled person and from 2020, I’ve lived with a cancer diagnosis, so I have both a personal and professional interest in improving access to music and live events. Education and the intent to reduce stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health, disability and the LGBTQIA+ community has spanned the entirety of my career, led by my own lived experience of queer identity, neurodiversity and invisible disability.

I am particularly interested in the political and linguistic discourse surrounding issues of disability and accessibility. One of my main goals is to contribute towards Attitude’s mission of reducing the fear when discussing these themes – I think conversation where everyone feels they can safely express their thoughts and concerns is the best way forward! Awarded the London 2021 ‘Inspire’ Mark for our Access Toolkit for event organisers; this led to us working on the Cultural Olympiad. The author has written this book in a very simple language- user friendly to the reader with practically applicable solutions to achieve your goals. This Book goes around the major principle of development of one's personality - the congruence of Thoughts, Words, Actions which are actually very crucial for any successful person. It comprises of beautiful motivational quotes taken from varied sources, seems the author has done a wide research before writing. In short, this is a collective encyclopedia of all Self Help books that you can read but in a short and sweet form of its own. Think of any great athlete – they aren’t walking around with a bad attitude. They may have a chip on their shoulder, and be hyper competitive, but they tend to be positive people. And that positivity opens them up to possibility, which deepens their drive to be great. As they continue to pursue greatness, they become more confident, which partner fuels their beliefs about possibilities. And the cycle continues. So, if you’re struggling with a bad attitude, seek to become great at something and see if that doesn’t change. Bottom Line
