About this deal

It would loosen as the day went on and I’d have to tighten it but it wasn’t too tight which definitely helps with the no headache.

It didn’t give me a headache like I sometimes get with hair ties when I leave them in all day and it definitely added some life into my ponytail as you can see! One of the main reasons I wanted to try them is because my hair is prone to breakage, and not a single elastic I have tried has ever come out of my hair without taking some with it. I wanted a way to pull my hair up without constantly ripping it out. The Pony-Os do not tangle my hair or snag it, and my hair is easy to comb through after removing them. It’s a MUCH gentler alternative to any other ponytail holder I’ve tried. That was my main goal, get my ponytail to have a little more volume and life to it! Mission accomplished! ✔️ You pull your hair through and flatten the band around your hair, then bend the sides to secure it instead of wrapping like a normal hair tie. I will admit…my first attempt at using the Pony-O Hair Accessories was difficult and it didn’t work out the first time. I’d glanced at the instructions, but I’m a hairstylist, so I figured that having the basic idea was enough. I was wrong…you should definitely follow their tips for best use!

3. Healthier hair

Overall this product did give life and perkiness to my ponytail, which is what I was mainly looking for, so it did what it is advertised to do. The bling ringz were the nicest surprise, for me. I wasn’t expecting much, other than a way to dress the bands up a bit. But I found that some of them provided extra tension to some of my Pony-Os when they weren’t feeling quite as secure. The magnetic clasps are pretty impressive. It is simply a rubber band that does pull your hair. Also it feels like a unnecessary weight on my hair. Kinda like plastic watch strap in my hair.

It kept it in place, but I didn’t get that snug fit like I was hoping for. Granted this could just be me and my weird need to make sure it’s secure but who knows. The crazy part is that less than a year ago my ponytails usually looked pretty awesome. I could make a ponytail look appropriate for work or a more dressy event. Those few extra inches of hair had ruined one of my favorite looks! One option was to cut my hair, because that would solve my ponytail problem. I’m definitely not doing that…not anytime soon. Not sure how long this elasticity will last since I assume the elastic metal inside of this hair tie will break soon. It did crease my hair a little bit when I wore it up ALL day long, but nothing major that I couldn’t brush out. And this is nothing I wouldn’t get from a normal hair tie anyways. So this wasn’t a deal breaker! I def expected something lighter and more finesse with better quality, but instead just some sort of cheap made in China stuff one can buy in 1 dollar shops.

What I think is interesting are the colors they offer and sort of reinvented hair tie from the 90s TV shops.
