It was honestly kind of amazing how quickly and thoroughly they managed to screw everything up once they all got going. I did not expect her ex-husband to be introduced at all lol but it was a nice surprise near the end.

Granted, it doesn't have illustrations, but it was still a much slimmer volume than I was expecting. Miyo was previously thought to be without a Gift (the supernatural powers that run in certain noble families, like Kiyoka’s), but has now awoken to one.
