In this first volume of this well-hyped series Moon Knight's therapy sessions are interspersed with the work of his Midnight Mission protecting his night-time neighbourhood from the likes of vampires and supervillains. Freed of his twisted mental programming by Leonard Hawley, the no-nonsense enforcer and former Hydra agent Soldier became another fixture within the Midnight Mission, going as far as to pose as Mister Knight when the mission was threatened. Knight has opened his Midnight Mission, his people petitioning for protection from the weird and horrible. Though he embraces his "sacred" duty/mission of protecting his community by night, he does not feel the same about Khonshu. Following Tigra's arrival, she protected Reese as Zodiac used a bomb to destroy the Midnight Mission in a bid to test Moon Knight's resolve. Quite a few new and interesting characters are introduced in this first volume, including his vampire assistant and another Fist of Khonshu.

I guess Mr Knight is his administrative/normal-ish side when he’s going to therapy and dealing with the running of his mission, and Moon Knight is for when he’s doing generic superhero action? After a ransom attempt by some wanna be jigsaw knockoff he fights this guy and then we follow him confront a new enemy Zodiac and I love the whole reveal of how it happens, almost like the Joker to his Batman. Together, they form a small army composed of the souls of former avatars of Khonshu, who join forces with Marc Spector in battle.
