Not so sold on him being this super bad boi, I obvs didn't wanna see Ziggy hurt but his persona was rather tell vs show and I get he had his own troubles to deal with but these felt a little rushed, especially his own family dynamic was left kinda unresolved. I had the same issue with Axel and Rooney’s book, but having loving it overall it didn’t bother me much but with this one it did. The most notable covers of the song were by jazz singer Phil Perry, who recorded it on his 1994 album, Pure Pleasure As a queer neuro divergent problem with dietary issues and chronic illness who loves a sports romance this book was bloody amazing. I want to love you as my friend, as my partner, as someone I’ll discover life’s possibilities with—within ourselves and out in this wild, wide world.

All the little changes in her life were only to help her shine, not to blurb her into something she was not. Again, on any other day, I would probably throw up my hands and walk off, enjoy bursting Ren's idyllic bubble by telling him that I'd appreciate it if he asked his best friend to cough up my panties the next time he sees him. Heat crawls up my throat and floods my cheeks as my brother's best friend stares at me from the shadows.Ziggy and Sebastian are complete opposites and seeing them connect and become friends-turned-more, despite their differences, was such a joy to read.

Sebastian was a really interesting character, and I appreciated that the author took her time with his transformation, rather than have him suddenly completely perfect in a couple of days. It’s not a very big problem, but it bothers me because it could have been easily solved with a bit of editing.Moreover, I appreciated the way in which each character spent the vast majority of the novel focused on self-improvement. Same for Ziggy, we see her become her true self and really stand up to others in a way that she wanted to.

Ziggy, the youngest and the baby of the Bregman family, proposes a fake friendship with her brother's best friend, the troublemaker Sebastian. But I am selfish and greedy, and I want this moment to know that even in all my undeserving, I can give her this.

I'm tired of it, and I'm sick to my stomach, thinking about what this perception, if it sticks, could cost me-what it already threatened to cost me, but for Coach Mal ignoring Bridget's warnings and putting me on the team anyway. Think about our society, think about how to be inclusive, how to be an ally, how to communicate with care and understanding, how to set boundaries in a healthy way, how to support a loved one, how to love unconditionally and how to create the life that we want.
