And finally, the cute details that remind us of the films' cherished scenes include a jail cell with a breakaway wall, a rotating seat for Palpatine and a control room with buttons and levers. The designers did a good job approximating the rounded shape of the model at this scale, and I doubt it could’ve been done better without using unnecessarily complex or unstable techniques. A huge laser blast completes this showcase piece, but a lack of interactivity and a hollow center does detract from the model.
