First came the stupid GlamGlow Glitter mask, yes, I used the word stupid because it's gimmicky AF and then I started seeing gold making waves in skincare again; Peter Roth Thomas with its 24k Gold Mask and more recently, Avon Anew Ultimate Gold Peel-Off Mask*landed on my doorstep. It lowers the temperature of your skin by up to 6ºC, providing a draining effect reducing puffiness and dark circles under the eyes.

The mask peeled off incredibly easy and I didn’t have to resort to using any warm water, there was also absolutely no pain – which I was kind of worried about. The texture is very thick so it doesn't spread as easily but that also means it dries down quickly and peels off very easily. Leave on until it completely dries (approximately 15 minutes), then peel up from the bottom of your face. I leave this on for 10-15 minutes and my skin will feel tight as the mask dries down but wow, the result is incredible.In normal light it’s much more of a pink mask than a Rose Gold, It did feel pretty comfortable on the skin but I wasn’t exactly impressed. I suffer with acne (cystic and hormonal) so this product wasn't great for my skin as it made it alot more sore. STEP 2: OPEN STEP 2 AND APPLY THE GOLD PEEL OFF MASK THINLY AND EVENLY ACROSS THE WHOLE FACE TAKING CARE TO AVOID THE EYE, EYEBROWS AND LIP AREAS.
