We do not have an official release date for the movie on Paramount+, but we can make an educated guess based on previous Paramount movie releases. There’s Zoe McLellan as Marina Pretensa, a young Mage (who is a wizard in her world) and potentially Ridley’s love interest. The thieves embark on a dangerous journey through the treacherous dungeons filled with deadly traps and fierce monsters. It’s a far cry from the darker take on Dungeons and Dragons that featured in Stranger Things, but they’ve clearly gone with more of a slapstick approach to the adaptation.

There is action and comedy in equal measure on show, something that really works in the fantasy genre when done right, and the pacing of the story really makes the 2+ hour run time seem to fly past without you ever feeling like it's dragging. This movie has something for everyone, and it’s not surprising to see it blow the competition away right now.

Explore the universe, characters, magical creatures, epic fight sequences, and stunning visual effects. The trailer did make it look as if this was just going to be humour but there's as much serious character stuff and development as that. If it keeps bringing in the money, Paramount will want to keep it in theaters exclusively for as long as possible.

It has gained a cult following over the years though, having earned two sequels – one made for TV and one direct to DVD. Some mildly amusing stuff but it does end up feeling overlong, and is just clips of people giggling at the end. Truly one of my favorite films of all time, and the best representation of Dungeons and Dragons in a film to date IMO. By January 2020, the two had adapted a script by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and Michael Gilio for the film. The Blu-ray and 4K versions are your best bet in terms of formats that usually include special features, but digital is worth checking out to see if it gets them too.Fans who purchase the film on Digital will have access to over an hour of thrilling bonus content taking them deeper into the world of the movie. A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers embark on an epic quest to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people. There is a lot of lore connected to the Forgotten Realms setting and hidden Easter eggs for those that know the campaign setting well. I’ve seen Jeremy Irons as a villain in ‘Die Hard with a Vengeance’ and he voiced the villainous Scar in 1994’s ‘The Lion King’. And believe it or not, Tom Baker, the Fourth Doctor from ‘Doctor Who’, makes a cameo appearance as Halvarth the Elf in this movie.

Dungeons and Dragons Honor Among Thieves came out on March 31st, 2023, so the UK DVD, Blu-ray and standard digital should be in either July or August 2023. They embark on a new quest with Simon Anuar ( Justice Smith) by their side, gaining new artifacts to battle against evil and changing their perspective of the world around them in the process.
