Though it’s got a medium level of reflectiveness, the bits of sparkle are pretty apparent and I don’t love the way it looks on my cheeks.

My favorites are the Wayne Goss Brush 14 (also in The Face Set), Laura Mercier Fan Brush, MAC 137S or Chanel Foundation Blending Brush (it’s essentially like the MAC skunk brush but fluffier/less dense).I don’t have all the shade options swatched today, I’m missing Prosecco Pop (I did swatch it from a palette here), Golden Mint and Parisian Lights, but I do have most of them! Moonstone gives a more subtle amount of glow to the skin compared to some of the other shades in the line. I love this highlight so much and I think it is the perfect highlighting shade for my skin tone and would look so pretty on so many others. It’s not chunky glitter, but you can definitely see sparkles on your skin when you look at things up close. And unlike traditional pressed powders, this one-of-a-kind formula blends pigments with liquids, to create an unparalleled, creamy feel that applies like seamless silk and never cakes.The pressed powder version of Moonstone is just as beautiful as the liquid version, it's super pigmented, buttery soft to swatch, long lasting and a little bit of this definitely goes a long way so a light hand is needed during application for sure. Depending on how little or how much you are using, you can create the full-on Instagram glam to every day healthy glow with these babies. The level of radiance varies from shade to shade but for the most part they’re pretty intense, almost metallic highlighters. Enriched with the power of ultra-fine, multi-toned, luminescent pearls, this A-list favourite is designed to replicate the dazzling natural light of the sun, bringing high-shine to cheeks, even on the dullest days.

Aside from not being a particular fan of Jaclyn Hill (to say the least), I also thought it would look really obvious on the skin. I gravitate toward a smooth and seamless powder like the Essence Pure Nude Highlighter or the highlighter in theBalm’s Will Powder Palette. Its formula seems a little less intense in a single application than the rest of the products mentioned today.
