About this deal

It's more confrontational than most UK hip-hop I have ever heard, and hell-cleverer than the singer's guttural regional snarl may suggest to some. Combined with Andrew Fearn’s sparse and rhythmic basslines / beats, it forms a raw and exciting hypnotic cocktail. A sparse bass line is joined by a cheap-sounding drum machine, introducing the brutalist instrumentation that the record never departs from. A continual seller ever since release in April 2006, demand for Burial's roundly praised debut has rocketed following a swathe of superlative appraisals and high rankings in the various year-end review sections.

Enter Mr Jim Sclavunos, the multi talented Grinderman and Bad Seed, not to mention the superbaaad connoisseur of the mixing console, fresh from producing the storming second Jim Jones Revue album. As well as the unparalleled joy of keeping the publication alive, you'll receive benefits including exclusive editorial, podcasts, and specially-commissioned music by some of our favourite artists. Sleaford Mods know this too: on 'Urine Mate', frontman Jason Williamson tells us about seeing one of Nottingham's better known alcoholics putting his bin out and "stinking of urine", whilst people from Mapperley Park (a fairly salubrious area) "point and laugh". fronting up to the BMX-riding estate kids ("Smash yer face, cunt, back into next week"), the possibility of catching chlamydia from using the "only phone on the road".Designer, architect and artist, his iconic work for Yes, Uriah Heep, Budgie, countless Vertigo sleeves and much more, has almost come to define 70's sleeve art. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. Kotiinkuljetuksesta perimme rahulia 3,99€ pienemmistä lähetyksistä (lähinnä cd:t) ja isoimmista vermeistä eli vinyyleistä, huppareista yms 5,99€.

Indeed, so pitch-perfect are Sleaford Mods in their vitriolic take-down of austerity Britain that part of me worries that's it all just some satirical prank, and that when 'Austerity Dogs' hits the end-of-year best-of lists (as it will) Williamson and Fearn will be found "laughing their tits off" with Mumford and Sons whilst blowing coke up each other's bumholes or something. They're like an updated version of his stuff using current language in a very street wise naturalistic way - which isn't everyone's cup of tea, but is very honest. You can argue that the one-dimensional approach to the production with the lack of any dynamics after 25 minutes could be the reason for these tracks falling flat, but they are certainly not as catchy and powerful as the earlier tracks. Black Moth rose from the Leeds underground scene at the end of the last decade, indulging their love for both Sabbath sulphur and Stooges squalor. There's no special claims made for the city; no grandly romantic nonsense about its worth vis-a-vis other UK cities.
