About this deal

Abbi Glines gave us a fantastic series, each one absolutely loved but Grant just has always stood out for me, above Woods and yes, even Rush (ducks and hides). How can I believe Harlow could stand up for herself when she hears Nan's friends talk bad about her and instead of confronting them, she runs away? I wanted to bash Grant then, but we spend the first third of the book with two very heartbroken people, who are clearly so much in love on not wanting to hurt and the other desperate to find the one person that is loved so much. I loved all the support by all the minor characters such as country boy Mase and his newly introduced hottie cousin Major. After reading One More Chance, I can officially say that Abbi Glines has redeemed Grant’s first book for me.

Even though she was better in this book than all the rest, I have absolutely no desire to read an entire book about her. Because we all know that it's different, so, so different when it's that someone who's holding your hand. Why have her have this serious heart condition in which having a child could kill her if she’s going to be fine? He had to overcome his reputation as a playboy, and his history with Harlow’s half-sister, Nan, a woman with a reputation of her own. Even though she has a heart condition AND HAVING A BABY CAN LITERALLY KILL HER, she insists on going through with her pregnancy, even though everyone around her wants her to have an abortion.I did hate that people were trying to force her to change her mind and get an abortion, because it is her decision, and if she wants to keep a baby that could kill her, it’s her decision, as much as everyone doesn’t like her decision. The only thing I liked was Nan donating blood to Harlow, but overall, this was a frustrating book to read. Though she wants to be with him, and knows he regrets letting her go, she doesn't know if she can trust him. I was immediately concerned about where things were going, I hate when I have to wait forever for my couple to finally get together. no one understands how hard it is to have a heart problems it isn't easy and Harlow has over came so much in her life.

Harlow heart condition is a scary thing which I have lived through as well so this story touched me so deeply. An overheard conversation about the past of Nan and Grant revealed something that was never explained and I want to know! A part of me was happy that Harlow was strong enough to walk away, but another part knew that Grant loved her deeply and was simply afraid to lose her. I don’t understand her decision, and I’ve never had to make that decision, but I also feel like it’s her decision to make…and Grant’s too, being the father.Twisted Perfection sneak peek for the day: (Warning this may feel a little spoilery to some of you where Grant is concerned. Harlow is pregnant and she was always told that she shouldn’t get pregnant because of her heart condition. Harlow loves without restraint, while Grant is still afraid of loving due to the loss he has had in his life. His voice mails were pretty pathetic, and I am utterly clueless as to why Harlow is in love with him, and why she’d give him a chance after everything he did. Everything after happened so quickly, as I said before Blaire and Rush; best friends anyone could ever want or need.

Yeah, Grant kind of disappointed us but now that Harlow’s gone, he saw what a douchebag he was and just wants her back. Although this is the second book to feature Grant and Harlow, Abbi Glines does such a fabulous job of recapping aspects of the whole Rosemary Beach series within the narrative that Rosemary Beach newbies will be able to follow the plot without problem. Though she wants to be with him, and knows he regrets letting her go, she doesn’t know if she can trust him.He was such an ass in the previous book but he changed a lot here and became a better man for Harlow. I love how strong Harlow has been and how she is such a determined feisty lady, and how he got Grant to see how truly unhappy his life had been before she came into it, even though at one point he thought he was in love with Nan.
