I'm not from the area and was introduced to the local delicacy the Parmo a few years ago and MIE serves the best I've ever tried. The Incredible Edible Network was set up in 2012 in response to the huge popularity of the original group in Todmorden and the flood of enquiries from those who wanted to embrace it’s aims. By accomplishing this, it hopes to transform people's relationship to the environment and spark new conversations.

I couldn't find that stated anywhere in the book, but it definitely lacks the gloss I expect from DK publications. They had an amazing range of food to choose from and the staff where amazing really helpful and friendly. Things get messy in North Lanarkshire as Stef and his audience discover what goes into haggis, go nuts for some scrumptious squirrel in the Mystery Meal and Stef also visits an abattoir to see how animals are slaughtered for meat.Lots of different varieties of food and drinks on offer including vegetarian and guilt free options.

I've even picked up some of the seeds for things mentioned in here to start growing this year that i otherwise wouldn't have bothere with, but now that i have all the detailed information i need to grow them i'm a little more confident.
