About this deal
Carrie's mission is to empower parents with information they can't get anywhere else - because at Two Wheeling Tots, WE PERSONALLY TEST EVERY PRODUCT WE RECOMMEND! If you start on a Tadpole then don't be surprised if you get hooked - they do all sorts of kids bikes from standard hybrids through to road, track and mountain bikes for those Sprogs that really get the cycling bug! The additional weight is worth considering if you're intending to carry it on a regular basis (say home from nursery or pre-school), but our reviewer found the Pinto to be very easy and fun to ride in balance bike mode.
The Pink Arrow helps develop the balance and confidence your child needs to use a real 2-wheeled bike. We feel this is better suited to smaller children (two to three years old seems about right), as the handlebars can‘t be adjusted and the built-in footrest is very narrow, but the motorbike sounds are very likely to extend its appeal beyond this age range. We loved the carry handles, cut out of the bike frame – a thoughtful touch that will be appreciated by parents who will inevitably end up having to carry the balance bike at some point.Larger wheels are used on bikes for leverage over obstacles (from simple cracks in the sidewalks to curbs and large rocks). Balance Bike helps your child to acquire the balance necessary to ride two wheels and thus facilitates him in the subsequent transition to the bicycle with pedals. Boori operate a deposit system: At checkout you will be asked to pay a deposit, with the remaining balance to be paid directly to Boori within 2 working days.
While our testers weren’t particularly bothered about this (it really was all about the motorbike sounds) we can certainly see its appeal. The first brillaint thing the other half and I noticed about this bike is that it's so light weight.
