About this deal
Once set, the STEINER Auto-Focus always delivers crystal-clear images in 3D brilliance from 20m to infinity - without refocusing. The less expensive Steiners I will say don't do very much for me but absolutely my experience with my higher end models is that these rank at my very top in comfort (eyecups), clarity , depth of focus, and edge of field performance. It is a pity Steiner doesn't supply these Navigator Pro's with their excellent looking floating strap as standard. When you look through Steiner binoculars, you feel the passion and the fascinating success story of the traditional company founded by Karl Steiner in 1947. The compass is backlit for easy viewing in all lighting conditions and the brightness adjustment is easily made, even while holding the binoculars one-handed.
There are not many 7x30 binoculars on the market, which is a pity, and I like the – compared to an 8x30 – slightly larger exit pupil with all the advantages of a 7x binocular. The 7x magnification ensures blur-free images to identify tons, beacons and bridge numbers, even in rough weather conditions (sea). To hold up to the elements, the housing is made of temperature and impact-resistant Makrolon polycarbonate. My initial thoughts before trying it were that it would not be very attractive to amateur astronomers but now I'm thinking it is actually quite useful and would be a handy small binocular to use as a spotter along with a telescope. With a compact design and lens diameter of 30mm, this Navigator's light weight makes it the perfect companion for spontaneous adventures at sea. NITROGEN-PRESSURE-SYSTEM - Fogging up or the formation of condensation inside the binoculars is totally prevented by this high-tech proprietary solution. The cylindrical eyecups offer you, even if you wear glasses, a perfect viewing comfort and reliable protection against stray light and wind from the side. In addition, a new bag is included to ensure that your binoculars are always optimally protected even when not in use. With this high-tech solution from STEINER, fogging or condensation inside the binoculars is completely eliminated.
The new Navigator takes Steiner's popular Marine series into a new generation with innovative product features. In addition to the excellent image quality, this binocular offers a large analogue and fluid-damped compass, which can be illuminated and make it easier to determine the direction at sea.
