The word "Junoon" is not only in Arabic, but also in Urdu or in Indonesian but it apparently somehow means passion. As someone who despised Qaed al Fursan Unlimited, which also contained Orris - it is emphasized perfectly in Junoon Noir.Boxed variants are always sealed with cello (plastic wrap) unless specified, or if the manufacturer by default does not produce it. I let this sit in my closet for about a month, and it's absolutely gorgeous: iris powder perfection. The reviewer below me is right - it smells like a fluffy, cloud of citrus wrapped around vanilla and violet.

To my nose, they’re about 97% similar - the only difference is that Dama is a bit more forward on the vanillc sweetness, while Junoon Noir is also sweet, but with a touch of woodiness. Edit: While I love the smell of Junoon Noir, along with the memories it brings back, I realize that I just don't want to smell like this throughout an entire day -- and it really has great longevity.
