About this deal

It's not aquatic as Aqua di gio profondo or Mr burberry but instead it's more citrus in the opening but the dry down is fairly close to the same as ADG profondo and Mr burberry. I love the opening of Dylan Blue but find the dry down to strong (mainly the ambroxan) and I can't stand it unfortunately. In a way, that makes this kinda similar to the opening of Dylan Blue, but the sweetness is tamer here, with a bit of sourness in there.

Hugo Reversed was one of those "must-have cheapies" for about two months, at which point discounters, far and wide, went "oh, people like this? My husband wasnt sure at first when he used it but then he said it started to grow on him the more it adjusted to his skin. The only thing I can say for sure is the drydown is the same (albeit slightly sweeter) as Polo Explorer, who's discontinuation I sorely lament. As with all new fragrances start off with a small amount until you see how strong of a scent you like, or how powerful it is on you. Same scent profile, an easy wear and everyday scent, not complicated (dumb reach) for spring/summer, very good fragrance, try it and thank me later.

Hugo Reversed" smelled for me, with a blind test without any information, first after a tangy mandarin and a loose find smell. It lasted me 8-12 hours but only with decent projection for 1 hour and then the duration you get a decent scent bubble. With that said it’s not a horrible fragrance and I can see certain people enjoying this but I am not one of those ! Alas, most people will prob like this and I'm sure it smells much better in the air then I get off my skin.I was looking for someone new for the summer and this smelled interesting so I thought I'd give it a try. Crafted for the modern man who appreciates a distinct and invigorating scent, this fragrance embodies a fresh and unconventional charisma. This is actually a very nice, bright fragrance, quite invigorating and clean, it really caught me off guard when I first tried it a couple of years ago, I now have a sample. com perfumes magazine - All Rights Reserved - do not copy anything without prior written permission. The dry down is where this one fails, all citrus goes away and the rosemary is over powering to the point where i got tired of it being on me.

Very fruity fresh to start and the dry down is great clean scent that reminds me of some laundry detergent I can't place. Elemi in L'Aventure becomes intolerably cloying to my nose and it makes the scent an herbal and medicant (albeit hyper sweet) version of an Aventus clone. The vetiver is dialled back significantly and is more citrus forward, creating an easy to wear and very uplifting scent. Hugo reverse is a fresh but not aquatic fragrance, it is an aromatic citrus where a juicy, energizing and exquisite grapefruit stands out from the start, which is accompanied by one of my favorite aromatic herbs, rosemary, the "pamplewood" molecule gives it a sweet woody touch and it further emphasizes its fresh character with a very fluid vetiver in the background, this composition performs well and is ideal for spring-summer, it is not one of the most versatile since I see it for exclusive daytime use, but I highly recommend it, an inexpensive jewel for the summer (although in my country it works for the whole year).
