I have only just bought it so I can’t speak for longevity yet, but so far it produces very acceptable shots using espresso grounds, it produces a good crema. If you think this is a lot to pay for a brew scales (and it's actually not, comparatively speaking) then see these.

The unique Thermoblock technology keeps water at the right temperature required to brew perfect Espresso coffees. Coffee it makes is fine and it’s easy to use but I’m honestly unhappy about the machine breaking down just after the two year mark.
