About this deal

Then when I rescale it all back down to 1080p, I am right back where I am now, with my 4k source scaled to take up the entire base resolution. I am seeing 1) 3840x2160 as the resolution in the OBS source properties, 2) 3840x2160 as the video resolution in the camlink device properties, and 3) I am definitely getting a 3840x2160 output everywhere other than OBS, but 4) the logs from OBS are showing the source as 1920x1080 (even though the properties menu shows 4k).

The upper left side is Elgato capture utility, and I've conveniently circled where it states that it is RECEIVING A 4k30 signal. Pic- ture in Picture, Side by Side, Triple, or Quad — choose your Multiview layout in Elgato 4K Capture Utility, and switch layouts on the fly with Elgato Stream Deck. FiniteSingularity and I are both having exact same results, even after trying a lot of different options -- I'll also note that I am on Windows 10 compared to FS being on Apple. If you turn it off, you will have to uninstall and reinstall the drivers/4k utility program again to do this trick.

If a manual is present please read these thoroughly to ensure correct operation/set up of the product.

First of all, make sure you have 4k utility program installed and have selected the appropriate dimensions for your inputs for 4k in that application. This feels a bit like being told to unplug and re-plug my cable modem after stating that I have already done so, 14 times. It is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the system requirements before making your purchase. I feel like camlink pro has enough inputs for video/audio but is it any good for capturing gaming etc, I also noticed it tops out at 4k30.I really think it's worth taking a look at my log above showing that OBS is negotiating with the device for 1920x1080 at 50FPS. Perfect for live streaming, video conferencing, online teaching, and more, Cam Link Pro makes advanced Multicam production a breeze. I wonder if the problem is that OBS is trying to connect to the source at a higher FPS then it should be. Stream or record in 4K or 1080p60 Full HD, control video feeds separately in broadcast software, and add four cameras to video streaming apps. Cam Link Pro equips you to capture four HDMI signals from cameras, computers, laptops, tablets, and more. Because NVIDIA Broadcast is able to pick up clean 4k signal from each input, it makes me feel that OBS is the culprit. You keep going back to "your source sends 1920x1080p60" completely ignoring the fact that both dcmouser and myself have CONFIRMED (and in my case I have shown evidence here) that 1) our video source is sending 4k30, and 2) that in every other windows capture software (at least that I have access to), using the exact same video source, and exact same Camlink Pro PCIe card, yield a 4k30 capture. So if I'm interpreting this properly- OBS will enforce auto-scaling a 4k Video Capture Device source down to whatever the base resolution is set to? New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . But just try it to see if OBS limits the capture device resolution to the canvas resolution or if your issue is caused by other things.
