You were graceful and endearing, but more mystical, complex and a little darker than before, and this stirred my interest. It teeters on the edge of being delicious, without conforming to conventional sweet floral concoctions. The fashion firm launched its first fragrance in 1997, which received numerous awards and was such a success. its prominent violet accord kicked off my love for violet and i love layering it with other violet fragrances.

I don't think I would have worn a perfume like this, I don't fit the "Lolita" image, but it's a shame to hear it's been discontinued. When we first met, just before the “new” millennium, you immediately caught my eye with your unique yet youthful grace. The two aren't even particularly similar, except that people seem to feel strongly one way or the other about both.

Definitely doesn't smell even remotely like Le Petit Robe Noire (which I have and love also) or LPRN Intense (same-have it, love it). I do pick up violets, licorice, cherry, and maybe a bit of an almond or amaretto scent that some have mentioned, and also a little musk. The Orris root, Vetiver and yet again the sparkling Ivy transported us to a deserted moonlit forest. Surprisingly, my first impression after all these years must have been flawed by my ego on its high horse.I've only recently taken a deep dive into the fragrance world, but even years ago as someone with only a slight interest in perfume, I somehow heard about Lolita Lempicka and was intrigued by the designer's name and the pretty purple bottle. Lolita Lempicka For Women starts with top notes of violet, ivy, star anise ,continues with middle notes of iris, amarillys, licorice, orris root, cherry,ending with base notes of tonka bean, vanilla, vetiver, musk, praline. It's very sweet and has this powderiness to it which I like, but I have to agree with another review.

Best-selling Lolita Lempicka perfume fragrances include the classic Lolita Lempicka, which blends aniseed notes with warm vanilla and praline. There's not much in it, but it is enough to notice a difference, in fact I actually find the Midnight Couture version slightly closer to the original than Le Premier Parfum. That liquorice, that cherry, that star anise and that vanilla are the perfumed dream of the gluttonous gnomes This purple apple has uncontrollable magic.

After falling in love with House of Sillage Cherry Garden I sought out a bottle of this little og Lolita to remind myself since it had been some time since I'd smelled her. it sounded magical and pretty so i bought the 100ml and wore it a few times throughout the rest of 2020 and then in the beginning of 2021 i moved on to other fragrances.
