N) Nitrogren to facilitate healthy growth of leaves, stems, and roots, as well as stimulate chlorophyll production, supporting photosynthesis.

White mould: under certain conditions a white mould may appear on the surface ofsome of the particles in SylvaGrow® John Innes No. Loam is the most important ingredient as it provides a natural reservoir of plant foods, trace elements and contains some organic matter which releases nitrogen slowly to the plant. Sand - Coarse sand helps to improve drainage by allowing excess water to infiltrate through the compost, preventing water-logging. When prepared correctly and planted in the right conditions, they can produce roots and eventually become independent plants. To grow well, plants need a wide range of nutrients in various amounts, depending on the individual plant and its stage of growth.NOTE - Your vehicle / trailer must be large enough to be able to be loaded without product overflow. The three key plant nutrients usually derived from soil are nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, while carbon, oxygen and hydrogen are absorbed from the air. This extra-rich blend of sandy loam, peat and fertiliser make John Innes no 3 compost a perfect addition to plants that have been well-established in your house or garden.

Our screening and blending plant is an indoor opperation, ensuring your topsoil and compost is low in moisture all year round, this means your not paying for water, just quality compost and topsoil. The peat content facilitates air movement and water retention reducing the need for frequent watering and is easier to rewet when dry.
