It will playback HDR content, but it does so with limited dynamic range in terms of image brightness, but the wide colour performance is good. With all that said and understood, the Hisense is a good LED LCD TV for a second room or kitchen and has some decent gaming features and input lag for those who want a bedroom panel for that use and some normal TV viewing.
